Hi guys, me again just saying that I still can't get current abyss to work with mabi. Just tiara by itself does work though, but I want abyss as well .
Installing abyss does not let me launch the game. I click game, but it just never pops up. I've come to the conclusion that abyss' new ijl11 doesn't work for me for some reason, but obviously it still works for others. Abyss config is on default.

I've tried...
Rebooting
Reinstalling
Installing through nexon's new launcher
Old launcher
Steam launcher...
Power Patcher, MabiDirectLaunch....
Virus Scanning

That's all I can remember right now. Patch log is very short

Try uninstalling Mabi, and then manually deleting the /Nexon/ folder and everything in it afterwards.

I suddenly started getting kicked from the game this afternoon with the "NRG detected a threat message".

Nothing has changed on my end though.

Anyone else?

I first noticed the NGS security threat when I was trying to multi-client around 7 PM EST. Sounds like mabidirectlaunch is being targeted, but I don't know of any other multi-clienting options to rule it out. Anyone else having issues *without* mabidirectlaunch?

yes I'm using the nexon launcher
unless just having it in my mabi folder might be the cause

EDIT: removing abyss and repairing files trough launcher worked

I think it's just Nexon freaking up....., some of my friends and people on reddit were getting it too and they don't use mods.

From what other players are experiencing it's not just a modder side issue. Clean client players are also getting hit with the NGS message. A player post saying to wait for the maintenance tomorrow for the fix if it's not fix by today.

All you people getting the error(like I am) are you running windows 10, and did you apply the forced updated today before you started getting the error?

Looks like its more like 20 updates that they just pretended was 1, but still.

Majority are getting the message regardless what system they are playing. Whether you are clean client or modding, players are getting kicked. Players have tried:

• Reinstalling, some did more than once
• Direct launch, Nexon launcher, Steam launch, Mabilauncher
• Disable mods
• Disable Anti-virus
• Run Mabi only with no other programs running in background
• End process NGS (Will get account flag for doing this)

Nothing seems to work.
I was doing fine yesterday with mods. Been online for couple of hours, fighting and upgrading weapons. Today I just experience the constant NGS messages and my Skype friends with clean clients are getting kicked also. Changing channel doesn't work either.

NGS message earlier happened to a lotta people, as stated.  I was on for 10 hours today no issue, then got slammed by that error twice i think, as well as a generic disconnected error 3x in about a half hour or so.

After a bit, game seemed to stabilize.  Does NGS send a check to the server every so often, that if not sent/received correctly will force dc a player?  Just wondering, cuz that seems to me like it'd make sense with all these random ngs errors, if the server was having an issue.

I did a clean reinstall and noticed that using custom packs worked, but as soon as i redownloaded abyss it seems to detect NGS. . . so yea so far no problems with custom packs on my end but with abyss it gets brought up; even though works for some.

My setups

1) Extra threads active, multi client active = detected
2) Extra threads not active, multi client active = detected
3) Extra threads not active, multi client not active = detected

* Any other patchs are not active anytime
* Detection is not inmediatly, NGS closes connection after 1-2 minutes

Even without any patch applied, there is some kind of detection of Abyss. Uninstalling Abyss allows me to plat without any problem.

Been getting booted non-stop. did a fresh install of the game which worked fine. Then i put in JUST abyss and nothing else and i start getting insta-booted again. Is abyss in need of another update?

Remove Abyss for now, and "wait" till after the update for as long as it takes.  This may take some time.  Blade is aware.

Yes; it does receive it pretty often actually. And yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it does force a disconnect. Yesterday I was able to sketch the lich (12am-6am) Mabi time with no dc because apparently CC'ing resets the "timer". Though idling or actually playing on the same channel get's me booted within 2-10 minutes. So it must be something incoming/receiving due to it not being the same amount of time online. (Unless something gets sent in intervals by time at like 5's or 0's vs let's say.. every 5 minutes).

And strangely enough this happened after I restarted my PC. Mabi had been on that whole day but I had to power down because my Windows 10 UI got pretty screwed up; and all these updates installed and booted Mabi and suddenly constant NGS. Trying a fresh install right now in a new dir w/ old Mabi removed. Though if it doesn't work just gonna go w/ Draconis' post and await~.

@JiOMeire to clear things up for you Fl0rn should know their is a timer as it's been discussed on the AntiMod thread and Discord chatroom, the timer is around every 5 minutes and Yes it relies on a sent/received packet for this 'heartbeat' else it sends a disconnect command, CCing does reset the timer and Yes, Draconis is right that abyss is causing NGS for most people at the moment, so only custom .pack modding methods are stable at the moment.

It's pretty strange because it's booting me sans any mods. Im running clean...any possible reason why this is happening?

Could be detecting specific modding files/programs in your Nexon/Mabi folders even if they're not being loaded.

I tested it, got booted i think 3x with a data folder in my nexon folder, but with it not being read.  I used logue's packer, so i'm using a custom pack file, i had just left the data folder in mabi directory as i didn't see a reason to move it.  After several NGS errors with no abyss, i tried moving the data folder out of mabi directory, and successfully played for about 40 mins or so on one channel before cc'ing.  Longest i made it as i personally got fed up with my lag and quit.

Not booting after i went clean. From my point of view its abyss. They are targeting it right before the event.
