Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Having Abyss active causes detection for me as well. I'm do not have a data folder, nor am I using modded packs.
Clean client works fine.

Its fine. Im sure Blade knows this and will find a workaround. I think with Perseverance and continuation will get us through this policy Mabinogi NA is implementing. If we do not, I foresee mod creators giving up on modding mabinogi. Just Imagine everyone running around laggy as hell from the clean broken client.  I absolutely refuse to have that future. I don't understand nexon. Abyss is pretty much saving the game at this point, yet they try to break it. if their game was actually built greatly then we wouldn't need abyss; however, they continue to ignore the fact that their current set up is failing them.

The NGS errors have kept me from playing, and I don't plan to play without abyss.

Probably already tested but i put abyss to the test and turned off everything in it so i would be pretty much running basic mabinogi. Even checked the abyss patch log and it said it was applying then finished right after, meaning abyss patched nothing into the game. Abyss were the only files put in, i had nothing else (no data folder and no new packages, everything base) and i still ended up with an NGS error within 5 min. I think that Nexon may have picked up on abyss or might be doing a file check of some sorts on the files associated with abyss.

Not sure if this helps but i thought i might as well post it up in case it does.

I figure I should throw this out there: I was on for twenty minutes earlier and didn't get any NGS kick. As far as I can tell, NGS is just plain glitchy. People with clean Client's are getting problems as well, as previously mentioned.

I feel the exact same as you. I have an okay computer, abyss and tiara save me.

Same here. Got to work after disabling/enabling certain things and cleaning up DIR/renaming .execs with no kick for 30-40 minutes now.

If wanted I can post/attach my .ini set-up as well as a screenshot of how my Mabi directory looks/enabled in-game.

I use PowerPatcher, Abyss with default ini basically, no data folder or custom pack files. I do use some other things that aren't public though which may be why I'm fine with being on. Completely forgot about that part.

Power Patcher isn't broken, it is however NGS detectable for some if they use it to launch Mabinogi, but it patches just fine even for those users, due to Mabinogi not even being opened during this process.

What I meant is that it throws NGS, not that it wouldn't download patches. And this would be the first time I've heard of anyone (like out of 200+ players) getting it working as a launcher since it started breaking, so it's 99% likely that those who manage to use it are using some method the rest of us don't know about. Now the same problem seems to be happening with abyss, whether it is due to abyss itself or the direct launcher, I can't say.

Also for what it's worth, direct launch is not getting picked up when abyss is not installed.

Logue's mabilauncher does not get NGS errors unless abyss is used, for me, in which case it is more logical to assume it has something to do with abyss.

Even if it is kinda unrelated i figured i throw this out:
Earlier today i was kicked for opening up Mabiunpack which i have in a seperate Folder of Mabinogi (mabiunpack is in my main-HDD in a folder named Mabiunpacking while Mabinogi itself is in the default directory)

Seems NGS is even monitoring your opened Programs.

Yes; NGS DOES indeed detect certain executables/programs as mentioned by Shaggy and multiple people. Better to do any custom modding/compression/decompression of packs BEFORE you proceed past Mabi's Client Launcher or using MabiDirectLaunch. (Also on a side-note; you could leave MabiUnpack in your Mabinogi Directory if you wanted to as long as you changed the name of it. Unless you leave it out for organization? c; ) though I do not think this should be discussed in Abyss' thread since it's not related to Abyss. Though you are correcto~.

I dunno what you mean by changing the name of Abyss. If you mean ijl11.dll you can't do that because the Client.exe does not support custom-modding therefor doesn't give us a list of .dll's to load )': so Abyss must become a Storm Trooper of ijl11.dll and Deceive the Jedi's (Client.exe) into loading the Dark Side (Abyss) so we can re-capture Death Star (Mabinogi). If you meant the actual .ini/set-up file that is something Blade "would have to do". Though to be honest I do not know if "Abyss.ini" could even be detected though I could be wrong as there is ways to make functions to find files within directories.

Is Abyss broke? It works fine for me and friends on Skype confirm Abyss works for them and the only odd thing I personally use outside of Abyss relies on Abyss' .dll loading function to CL. I did get kicked twice but that was yesterday. (I've restarted my PC since). Gotten few(six) notes ingame = why I ask. Also the 232 Modding Report says to wait for a fix or something among those lines. Reading above posts Blade confirms his works as well though he uses a private set-up that could be altering.

Edit: So i had the game open for 30 minutes and as soon as i posted this ngs error. Also i fully uninstalled Abyss but for some reason i keep seeing the Abyss patchlog pop up???

I don't think that this is the case I have had cheat engine and DATApacker open at the same time as my normal mabi client,(with the mashipack installed), i also have tested opening them up while the game is running and it works fine for me with 0 ngs errors until i test them all with abyss.

The same thing happens to me I deleted abyss fully and wiped everything in files and other places in my computer but Abyss keeps showing up?
And then I D/c after 5-10 mins after logging onto Mabinogi from the NGC or whatever is causing it. Help.

just download the ilj11.7z here or in the first post and extract it to replace the ilj11.dll in your mabinogi directory.
