I can't type in Korean in general chat.

It works fine if I'm PMing people, but in the general chat, including guild and whispering, the Korean words come out in a neon blue and then turn to question marks as soon as I hit space.
Even if I don't hit space, I just say "?"

@Blade I know it's been a while and totally wouldnt blame you if you entirely abandoned Abyss, but on the off chance you didn't, someone posted on Kanan C++'s github a link to a mod similar to abyss. The problem is its all in chinese. The reason I bring this up is they seem to have found a way to make the cursor during certain skills where it dissapears visible and was wondering if you had any intents on doing the same? It would be awesome if you did, but again totally understand if you dont want to or have no plans to c:

I can't extract the ijl11.dll to the app data file. I'm using windows 7 can anyone help? it says "Destination Folder Access Denied" i tried running admin to allow data transfer but it didn't work too.

As of the G21 update, the "disable screen shaking" feature seems to not be working for me. I asked a few fellow abyss users, and they reported similar status.

It's a feature I've grown to like, and even more so in the absence of it.

Trying the direct download just keeps saying the connect was reset. Trying the Adfly download... just gets stuck in a bunch of ads (that almost make me worried my PC will get infected, haha...). Same with the two mirrors.

Weird.. I just checked mine and it downloaded without a hitch. Being you have a problem with all mirrors makes me wonder if it's an antivirus or something.

abyss hates me rip

ever since the April update, i get an occasional notification telling me that the dll file cannot be found or.. something strange along those lines? i can't quite remember. i fixed the problem by replacing the dll file in the April update with a "fresh" dll file from before the update, and that seems to have fixed it?? i can't remember what all i've done to try to fix it.
i'm pretty sure that one thing i did in fact try was deleting Abyss and reinstalling it, and the last time i did that it worked like,,, once and then i got the problem again.

meanwhile i'm having issues with the newest update,,,,, not working :'D yay!

Are you using Hyddwn to launch? Is it up to date? I recall it causing issues with abyss at one point

You need ijl11.dat as well.

I think I know what b71zz4rd is talking about. It's most likely the AV program acting up and not liking Abyss. Windows Defender has been doing that to me out of the blue for the last few days. This may just be a temporary fix, I'm not sure, but I added Abyss and the Mabinogi appdata folder to the AV exclusions list so it won't go haywire with "oh, this file is a threat." Perhaps give that a try and see what happens?
