Anyone else having the problem that clicking on the mailbox crashes Mabinogi?

Yeah, I also can't talk to NPCs..


EDIT: I just disabled NPCFastText in abyss config and that seems to have worked... maybe this has already been addressed

Make sure you have the proper ijl.dll and .dat files. Sometimes when Mabinogi updates, it replaces those files with NX's files.
You can download them on page 1 or from Blade's website.

Edit:
I also just remembered that your client through the Steam folder is going to have a different path.
For normal NX Launcher users: C:/Nexon/Library/Mabinogi/appdata
For Steam users: C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Mabinogi

Make sure your files are in the last folder destination as well for the client to read them.

I am having this same problem as well. I recently got frontend, but only some of the mods of abyss seem to be failing to patch,  same as for the user whose patch log I quoted there.
Also about 2  days prior to some of these patches failing, I used contig.exe to make mabinogi files contiguous, so I thought that screwed up the patches somehow, but then I re-installed the whole game and re-installed the mods from scratch, all clean, few times even, but still got the same thing.
Guess we need an update, then?

yea, blade has already fixed most, if not all of those last i heard, and was working on bringing back a certain patch before releasing it.
for future reference, when update day comes and mabinogi code changes enough, it causes some abyss patches to fail each time, obviously it's going to affect you and everyone else, nothing you do on your own pc is going to affect certain patches so your wasting your time thinking reinstalling several times or a program you used could ever cause failures or solve anything.

I did everything and when I get to the login screen it wont let me login while i know forsure the info is correct as I can launch mabi with the nexon launcher but direct doesnt work for me..

Direct launch is known to be broken, no idea if Blade's version was redone to work with the current... But you'll need  some form of launching method now.
Hyddwn or Frontend for example.

Withou the mods on its fine but my wife got abyss and tiara on and when she tryes to go to festia she gets a *resource data is invalid prop 262 Error* and it crash her mabi, just wanted to let you know

p.s: one thing i forgot to say is everything else work for the mods, she only get that error crash when she try to go to festia

festia crash is from outdated data folder mods, specifically data\db\propdb.xml, not abyss, please update your tiara mods to version 273

I seem to sometimes be having this issue where opening the dressing room crashes the game when abyss is installed. The only other mod I have is my interface mod.

I've crashed before when someone requests trade with me while I'm in the dressing room.  Not sure if this is what happened with you, but I haven't attempted to recreate the crash again.  I'll have to see if it's still an issue.
