Stupid question:
I only want the DATAPacker stuff and if I use the offline version how do I remove or add certain mods only? You said to click the + at the bottom of the installer to enable/disable mods, but I'm not using the installer; I'm using 7zip to extract it instead. Is there a list somewhere for each pmg, xml or whatever for each mod?

You would just delete the mod/files from your data folder and repack/apply mods unless using Abyss/Kanan.
I'll add the list into the readme once i format it for readability, the installer creates a list into your registry and has tooltips explaining each file, but it's been a slow process completing it, and i had autobot as a frontend awhile back before i started using the registry to save mod information, so i have a script that reads the registry and creates a list of it, and just needs to be completed, not all individual files are explained yet and some descriptions are generalized by the mod name as well as some mods being so old it's hard to give credit to the original creator then needs added to autobot and the readme.

I will post an older list that hasn't been formatted for readibility in this spoiler below.

Yeah, I figured as much. It's just I'm not sure what to delete.

Fog removal for the Iria Underground minimaps fixed.

*Note: We've lots of people that use our mods, but the one thing that we need most--effective communication via constructive feedback is sorely lacking. I've checked past posts for info on the above mentioned. (I didn't see anything specific, prior the report.) If something is broke, or missing/in need of attention. Please be very specific, and It'll get it fixed a LOT faster this way. We're not able to fix what we're unaware of. Make a note of this and contribute this way if you can. Thank you.

try reinstalling with a different font, unchecking the font or delete \data\gfx\font\nanumgothicbold.ttf if using Abyss/Kanan

With Amaretto's Tiara font installed, new lines have a HUGE gap between them. This is evident in both equips, and chats. Basically any item or chat box is having this happen.

yea, the way mabinogi uses font's changed like 4 or 5 years ago so i did try to edit amaretto's font back then but, it was just tedious and hard to fix the gaps, the characters were also squished together too on more then one of the older fonts like amaretto's and while i was able to fix some, others were just becoming worse which is why the installer has several font's to choose from

Fair enough, I just put in uotiara font, and it's fixed it. It's a bit small, but works much better, keeps things clear. Thanks for the clear up.

Yeah it works on UTiara font, but this is the only font I have tested at this moment.

BTW the UTiara font is kinda blurry for me, IDK why. Guess it is caused by resolution issue?

UPDATED: I have just tried all the font, so far only Tiara (not UTiara) is having issue with the new dungeon, which, unfortunately is the font I use the most, I guess that's life isn't it XDXD

The criteria we look for when putting fonts in (or at least it seems that way) so far from what's occurred in the past, seems to be that the fonts need to be smaller than 52 k in size. The idea behind this is that it removes some of the functionality as far as alternate character sets or rather what they call Hangul. Tiara has had a focus of minimization and efficiency. We're in the United States or rather it's considered North America aka the International region with the basis of English being the predominant language. So, fonts have no need for these extra character sets in Tiara. So we can consider other fonts but it will require a lot of experimentation and having the user base as input. That being said I'd hope that people would be able to do so and provide feedback in regards to this. One of the main things that has occurred over the years with any mods is they become broken or obsolete or rather need updating. Again example of this was the DPI change a while back in regards to the maps. Fonts are likely much along the same vein. Until later then...

Hello,

I am currently trying to get rid of those "(Lv.15)", "(MAX)" that comes out of Talent titles from the Tiara mod, the Talent Level Numbers.

I tried following the instructions of getting rid of data/local/xml/talenttitle.english.txt and data/xml/talenttitle.english.txt

I do not use Data Packer.

I also tried unchecking the Section "Show Talent Level by Number" and Section "Show Talent Level by Number 2" from the Installer.

I also tried to get rid of several files but that doesn't do anything at all.

Only thing that got rid of it was uninstalling Tiara itself, which is not what I am trying to do. Just want to get rid of the Talent Level Numbers that come out of the Titles.

If anyone knows anything, please let me know.

Am I supposed to delete the utotiara.pack file? I just did and it did the job, but just want to make sure if I am supposed to delete the file itself.

yea, since i assume your using abyss to apply data folder mods then mabipacker/uotiara.pack isn't needed, furthermore any change to the data folder will be overwitten by the mods in uotiara.pack unless you use UOTiaraPack.bat to update the changes to uotiara.pack each time, so it's better just to remove it and stick to one modding method ie abyss/data folder.

Likely not, however...
When you add mods in. Any launcher of any sort needs to be closed. If this isn't done, you'll have issues as shown (or worse). Be sure to head over and grab the latest Abyss too, this was updated today as well.
So...
Turn launchers off.
Try again (re-do the steps you did before).
Let us know please, and we'll go from there.

I'd like to preface this with an apology. I haven't touched Mabinogi in around four years and I've lost my bearings when it comes to Tiara. It's installed and all that but I'm using the Nexon Launcher to get into the game and this is where I imagine the issue is because none of the mods packaged in with Tiara activate in-game. It's precisely vanilla. I've gathered that I'm doing something wrong and after shopping around the forum for a female dog I'm at a loss as to what that can be. Can someone please help me?

At the moment there are 3 install methods and uotiara forces you to choose at least 1 with the installer, which are Abyss, Mabipacker and Datapacker (soon to be replaced with Kanan), so you'll need to provide information on which method you tried so that we can narrow down why the data folder mods are not being applied.
Nexon Launcher is not the cause as it and the Steam Launcher are the only options as of right now.
