Hi there, I got tiara's working (agaiN) came back after a year or so. Small problem, is the MabiDirect Launcher (Abyss),

I can log in using the nexon launcher, but when i try using MabiDirectLauncher, I can open the 2nd screen and it loads, but any log in using valid info, gives me..

Your info is wrong etc. etc.

Below are possible methods of launching.  We do not advise these normally, but they are currently the only known way to launch,
 as of the april 19th update.

Hey, someone actually followed up and did some work on their own, nice.
Anyways, there's ongoing work/investigation as to the whole launching issues.  At the moment, yes steam and nexon launcher are the only ones that I personally know of that's working.  There's currently not an ETA when that will change unfortunately, all you can do is be patient and wait.

Tiara doesn't touch any dressing room files. Any files that would potentially be the issue, I've checked as well.  The way an update works is you diff the current mod files with the latest official files to see the changes.  That being said, once you do that then you know exactly where the differences/changes are.  This is likely some other issue such as packs.

download link has been fixed, autobot will probably need to be redesigned in another macro script language like AutoHotkey, C# or Visual Basic's are typically my go to OO programming languages, but i'll also have to test wither it's the keyboard hook that's causing NGS detection or something that can be changed/avoided with AutoIT, currently i haven't had the time or fast enough internet as i have had a 6 month penalty from my ISP for copyright infringement with 2 months remaining

the download page is working fine for me, fixed it a few days ago, try another browser, clear history and cookies, make sure cookies and javascript are enabled and provide screen shots showing what you call a dead link so that we can see the error you specifically are having.

Updated to R252.0.0.1

• Minor hotfix applied.  Windows 10 users will still hang when using MabiPacker to create UOTiara.pack, however, it no longer freezes.  Wait it out.  Shaggy is aware.
• Cleaned up some files that were obsolete/settings.
• Added Rabbie Phantasm Wraith Prop Indicator.  Hold ALT to see during this phase of the dungeon.

Other news...  and putting some boundaries/guidelines into place...

• Support is no longer offered by me for Tiara or anything that as it currently stands is obsolete or broken.

I'm just returning to Mabinogi after quitting/uninstalling the game 4 years ago and am trying to install Unofficial Tiara's Moonshine Mod Renewal R252. But I seem to be having no luck at all in getting it to work. I even tried just doing the install with nothing but Abyss Patcher, Mabi Packer, and DATA Packer selected. Yet despite that I still can't get it to work.

Also, I'm not sure if this is possibly related to the cause of my issue but I noticed that everytime during the installation it was showing this "Copy failed" message like in my image below:




In any case, after I installed Unofficial Tiara's Moonshine Mod Renewal R252 I went to open the Nexon Launcher for the game and clicked the big orange PLAY button. It turns gray for a minute or two as if it's about to open the game. But then nothing happens and it returns to being orange. The only way I can even get it to open the game again is if I uninstall the Unofficial Tiara's Moonshine Mod.

Might anyone possibly know what is causing my issue and how I can get the mod to work?

post your UOTiara_installlog.txt, it should be in the mabinogi folder, but since the installer is showing ¥ yen sign instead of \ for your file path i'm curious if it's a language regional problem where changing to english will solve it or perhaps your having user access problems with your security settings not giving permission to the installer to write to the mabinogi directory so try running it as admin, and you can always extract the offline version of the installer with 7zip and copy the data folder to your mabinogi directory and install Abyss manually

I assume like nexon's old launcher that it's detecting custom .packs that are set to read-only and will not launch unless read-only is disabled on language.pack so that it can delete and re-download it.

Does it matter whether it's the Online or the Offline version that I try for your suggestion there?

no, but using the online version ensures your getting the latest files like Abyss since Blade uploads it himself, the offline version is mainly for those that wish to extract the Data folder and do everything manually.

also make sure to uninstall first so that it removes the custom .packs in your package folder.

if that doesn't work then it's most likely a problem with you using Abyss so, install using just MabiPacker and Data folder mods without Abuss and Data Packer and post in the Abyss thread on possible ways of getting it to work for you.
