Hey Shaggy, just curious, but is it a bad idea to play without the crackshield thing?

I mean, ever since my last response I just tried to exclude abyss from the install of tiara and the result is I absolutely have no crack shield to use, but I'm still able to log in and play and what not. I just don't want to screw up and it cost me, even if it means asking here and looking dumb/getting criticized for it.

abyss doesn't work without crackshield...so yea sure, you can play without abyss and crackshield and have data packer or logue's mabipacker just apply uo tiara's data folder mods.

crackshield is only to prevent hackshield from detecting memory editing and such like abyss.

Hey, I got an error with crackshield. It says:

Error occurred during initialization.
[Code: 4, Result: 0x00000105]

What do I do to fix this? D=

i believe that error occurs from having a debugger running so try closing any programs your not using in task manager, disable any start up apps your not using and do a restart, also you may have better luck asking in the Abyss thread and if all fails install uo tiara using data packer.exe only.

Ah, thank you! It probably was a debugger error 'cause I tried playing other Nexon games and got a debugger-losing-a-game-of-chess-with-hackshield message which auto closed the game. Debuggers, gotta love 'em sometimes xD;;

Updated AutoBot:
fixed Hotkeys to work while ALT and/or CTRL are being held down and added the ability to change the hotkeys in config.ini (have not yet added them to GUI)
so that i could add more options to the Clicker without being stuck in a loop if ALT or CTRL is being held down.

running a clean client then I add tira with autobot and click abyss to add then when I try to log in my client crashes seems Im not able to run mods atm

So, I'm not sure if this is how it works anymore but I remember using autobot before and it was it's own separate program. How exactly do I start up autobot now?

same way as before, only difference is now you have to install it with uo tiara.
if a shortcut for autobot isn't on your desktop just go to c:\nexon\mabinogi\autobot\autobot.exe

The autobot.exe isn't in there, and I don't see the option with Tiara to install it

There definitely seems to be something going on with Abyss. Rebooted my computer and mods don't work again. Tried copying from my laptop which was still at mabi version 177 or so, but that didn't work, nor did the mods on my laptop after updating to the current mabi. Luckily mods are still were working on my Win 8.1 PC at work, so I copied the Abyss files from there and still wasn't working when using the direct shortcut for client.exe. However, if I launch via the Mabinogi.exe shortcut, everything works. I haven't tried installing power patcher again yet to see if that will work or not. Also, I noticed I no longer have the Abyss menu when right clicking on the title bar. Probably completely unrelated, just something I noticed is also going on. I wish I kept versioned copies of Abyss so I could try and figure out where it stopped working as I know some people are using a version of Abyss from about a year ago or so.

actually you should do the research, no offense for you criticizing someone for making the same mistake you just did...

mmm. Just updated tiara to 183.  having problems with the mabilauncher plus. says server and local version are not the same. no clue what this means.  I can get to log-in screen, but when trying to log in, it says 'server cannot connect'. I've come so far into installing this.  any clues?

Hi was wondering if I could get some help.
I am getting this error on start up hack shield Error code:0x3000ffff 
I have other computers running win 7 64 bit also all of them work fine, just this new system I am setting up is getting this error.  clean install of everything as of yesterday.

Which mod is the chat delagger in the install? I've been digging through it and I can't find it. Is it empty mod146, or is that actually just an empty file?

Also, whenever I bandit hunt in Dunbarton, everything becomes shaded and shadows are gone. Does anybody know how I can fix this? I'm assuming it's the bandit spotter, but I'm pretty sure I checked off all of them. But to be sure, there was only 2 things to check for that right?

Do you mean the new font? I don't know what the hell it is in the installer, because I've never actually run the installer for this before...
However, I can tell you where it goes after the fact.  Data/gfx/font

yes bandit spotter is just two files, ensure they are not still packed with data packer or a custom .pack

MOD146 is empty ie not even a file is added or deleted.
it is being held for a future mod since at the time it was created for another mod that has been since removed.

Kinda glad I've hated Tiara's choice of fonts since Amaretto changed them, back around G3 times.  I'd have gotten mad by now otherwise lol

it has 6 fonts now, the one that you prefer as well as a few of the older ones and i imagine i will change a few of them based upon the popular font choices that come about.

I did use the installer, but I couldn't find the chat delagger. And also, I don't mean the font changes because I actually like the regular Mabi font. I seem to recall there was something that delagged the game whenever you pressed 'L' to open the chat logs. Although, if that was only because of Bitmap fonts, then nevermind.

That'd be the fonts.  Be it manually added fonts (like the one mentioned above) or the bitmap fonts.   It's still the fonts that are doing it.
