Anyways, for the one poster. Just redownload it again, It's only 20MB and that error message obviously tells you to try to download the .exe again

chances are redownloading it isn't going to help with their specific problem (but i know what will) and there are no other mirrors.

try deleting your history and cache/temporary internet files.

Hey Shaggy I noticed that I can't see certain mods working. Like the fossils do not tell which one they are and in Rabbie Adv you cannot tell Weak from Strong. Was this because of the new patch?

yes and no, you need to repack the mods so that the \data\xml\ and data\code\ folders are packed into language.pack again.
you can use data packer.exe or C:\Nexon\Mabinogi\UOTiaraPack.bat

well i haven't had time to update so i'm surprised they are at R151 and its not causing any crashes, i will try to update later on tonight.

It's rather odd. I'm using my mods just fine.. and i'm getting no crashes. However, both of my friends who mod are unable to play their games with mods. Neither are using abyss. (We're all using R149 btw.)

Just delete things like itemdb.xml and propdb.xml in data/db/ and things generally run fine. I'm still on Tiara v147.

I already updated my UOT myself, and I don't know what exactly causes the crash.
Error report shows nothing helpful at all.

I suspect it is either one of the /local/ files or the usual /db/ files, but I have no proof of it.
It's also very likely that it isn't even a UOT mod.

Since UOT uses .txt files, it's probably not /local/ files. Did you try deleting skill folder and the files I mentioned before in /db/?

I was having the same issue when I attempted to log on today after the update. I use both Tiara and Abyss; however, I noticed the crashing stopped after uninstalling Tiara and there was no crashing with Abyss.

I tried to delete the suggested files mentioned in the posts here but still had crashing. I then deleted a few more files but that caused the clients start button to stay grayed out lol. So,I deleted all mod related files and then reinstalled Tiara; there seems to be no crashing now. I'm wondering if there was a file from Autobot that was causing the crashing because I had that installed (but always install Tiara afterwards so the files are kept updated, which was and still is the current version of Tiara).

All i had to do was delete features.xml.compiled. You should see it as soon as you open the data folder. Hope this helps

I am having the same issue and crashing about every hour now.

Is it a HackShield error or just a plain crash? Tiara shouldn't be causing this as long as you've gotten rid of the db's which may have new items implemented. Race must've changed since we got event monsters, but that's a text file and won't be a problem.

Yeah the problem is somewhere in Tiara as Abyss works smoothly.

Sorry, I meant to say that I already updated everything manually, and I don't have an issue anymore, but I wanted to let Shaggy know that it seems like it needed updating.

It really isn't too hard to keep stuff up-to-date.
A quick diff and copy-paste is enough to fix everything without sacrificing itemdb and propdb mods.

Whenever I try to start the game it says Mabinogi: Error occurred and tells me to post a message to the nexon board or something

You've deleted ALL files mentioned on this and the last page? If so, did you click Find and Modify on DATA Packer afterwards? It didn't work for me either, until I did that last step.
