I can't even get my client to run, installed Abyss on a clean Mabinogi and it gives me an error message after I click start game.
Any reason why? Or what I did wrong?

Edit: I can get it to run I just didn't click out of the hack shield error message. Is the message supposed to be there and just not get touched?

Downloaded the latest abyss update and self-right click works.

Whenever i try logging in it just says "logging in," it stays like that.  I have to ctrl alt delete shut it down cause it says its not responding.  I'm running windows 7 64 bit

Do any other windows pop up? It sounds like you aren't running HSLaunch.exe

You're positive you don't have any Tiara packed in and forgot? It sounds like you're using old Tiara files. If that's not it then I'm sorry, but I don't know what's wrong.

Pretty sure, just freshly installed mabinogi before I added the abyss files into it.

Pardon me if this is a stupid question, but do we have to do anything special to uninstall this? I presume you delete HSLaunch.exe, but is it necessary to replace the other files?

I have an unsightly problem with the font. It cuts off a little from the top, and it's just not the chat.
Is there a way to fix this? It's a little annoying.

Delete or rename dinput8.dll and dsound.dll. If you want everything to do with it gone then delete them and HSLaunch.exe, dsound.ini and Abyss_patchlog.txt.

..eh anyone think they can help me out i seem to keep getting this error everytime i try to open mabi with cracksheild running http://puu.sh/1DLNe im using win 7 64bit not really sure what to do at this point

Make sure there are no lingering Client.exe in the Processes tab in Task Manager. Make sure you have dinput8.dll in your Mabinogi folder (where Client.exe is).. if you don't then make sure all the rest of the files are in there as well. Make sure your anti-virus isn't deleting it for some reason as well.

Also make sure you're running HSLaunch out of the same folder you're running Mabi from.

odd...i thought the dll file was added aswell....i guess not ill add it and then try again and to Plone yea i have it in the same folder

alright got it working aparently the dll file was being deleted by my anti virus like Blade said ._. thanks alot guys
