You can use literally any font you want... All you need to do is rename it to the same thing the game uses (or tiara uses) and place it in the same folder, and bam. New font.

V222.0.0.0 released.  I also verified Nexon's latest fix after poking them a bit about it.  So far all looks good and things seem a LOT more responsive now.  Time will tell for sure.

dont know if its abyss or UO tiara or the new update for windows 10 that happened some days ago whichever those 3 the mods are dead on my computer. I launch the game and client.exe will not work. Even in a fresh installation of these mods still wont allow it to launch it also requires the launchers to be ran as admin without mods to even function. I have tried running it with admin rights when mods are in place doesnt work. Strangely enough I also get a error message about abyss now when installing Tiara

If you use mods avoid any launchers at ALL cost.  Please do NOT use them.  They cause more problems then they solve.  Specifically the Nexon Launcher.  Say you were to get the latest client and dlls via PowerPatcher... Well, guess what... The Nexon Launcher will revert your fresh, new, and latest files to the older ones it thinks are the correct ones.  Even though these files you supplied are the correct ones.  This probably has to do with server side settings of the launcher, or within some configuration settings itself.  I haven't looked into this yet.  I do know based on what PCs I've worked on so far that have used the launcher.  One person had been having issues for months... From a logical and common sense perspective it makes sense that the launcher reverts files, it's their way of ensuring nothing is modded.  The problem is they take it too far and it's not working as it should.  That's Nexon for ya lol.

So, the issue with Abyss can be done manually as it does download the file, it just doesn't extract it. This is something Shaggy is looking into.  He mentioned this a few posts back.  When you read the past posts as well you give yourself the best chance of getting things running and being able to help yourself.  This is important, because we can't always be there and with as many people that do ask for help... It's in your best interest to know.  (You should know how to use it, if you're going to do so).  I'd start with PowerPatcher--revert your version to 5 versions back.  Patch to current to get the latest files.  After this you'll want to check your packs and make sure you remove the redundant ones.  Every 5 versions they like to bundle typically, sometimes every 2.  Then make a direct launch shortcut, use Mabi Direct Launch, or use Mabi Launcher Plus.  For info on these please see the respective threads on them.  If, you're unable to resolve this after actually trying and what not, feel free to shoot me a PM with Teamviewer info: Time, ID, and the password when you're in front of it.  This is a last resort however.  I still play so I like to enjoy my time too, and well real life...  Good luck.

I will try doing what you told me to do see if that gets me anywhere and I will wait till you have the free time to help and just play without mods as its not much of a big deal for me I just enjoy my extra stuff that comes with UO Tiara ^^ also I am one of the dunces who never said thank you for continuing the project when shaggy disappeared for a bit so thank you for being helpful :3  but as you see I rarely come here for help in less I am absolutely stumped and google cant give me any answers

+1 to this.  If more people actually took the time and made the effort to learn and troubleshoot on their own the world would be a better place lol.  The thing is owning a computer is a lot like owning a car.  You want to know the basics (I realize you probably know this already. ) I draw the line at tearing down transmissions though.  So...

You may be right, which in the world of windows is more than likely.  I had to allow programs through again and Abyss due to changes.  For me this was AV Suite related.  The latest update I have for Windows is: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3140768
The ones before that worked fine as well. This one was dated March 8th.  Being that Abyss was also updated at that time, it may have triggered to where it wasn't allowed through your FW.

March 8, 2016: Fixed WindowPosition patch. Fixed WindowPosition patch crashing in game windows such as Guild Page and Web Shop.

Sometimes windows is well... windows... A real pain in the butt sometimes.  There was no change other than the fixes Blade put through for the WindowPosition.  Tiara didn't change other than some minor things that probably could have waited till the next client update.  What did change of note was Abyss which is downloaded via the Tiara installer.  I'll leave it to you to go from there...

This is also a clue...  Your DNS settings will definitely have an affect on Abyss and the client.

Also with my forced DNS redirection off on my router I get this with power patcher still. It did it before on my dns now I am just using googles dns.




Also before coming back today I had fixed the dns redirection on my router and reinstalled the current version of tiara and it still causes the client.exe to appear for around a second and a half in task manager then quits. I know it still has to do with something not installing right because regular un modded mabi will work >.< I might just download and install another fresh copy of mabinogi from steam and see if that helps.

Ok so the redownloading a whole new client from steam worked a lot better then downloading it via nexon launcher. I might as well add in case you may not know as it took me a bit to find out before even coming here for help is they redid the whole mabinogi folder layout through the nexon launcher version. They shoved the client and important files into a folder called appdata. '


also I still have no clue how my old client completely broke lol guess something just work like magic xD but at leasti have all my mods again so thank you so much for helping again (:

You're attempting to connect with 217 files if this is what you're doing.  No wonder it's not working.  Please see the PowerPatcher guide.  To do what I mentioned what you do is write custom version to 217 then exit PowerPatcher.  Then, you launch it again with admin privileges, always with those... Then let it sync up and patch to current.  Your issues should be solved.   The issues you are having aren't Tiara specifically it seems on this basis.  It's PowerPatcher being using incorrectly.  Tiara is a data folder installation set to customize what you want via selection.  PowerPatcher is provided as a tool and a launcher for your convenience. Wasn't gonna lie I am a nub to powerpatcher xD I use the one launcher i told you about normally as is and powerpatcher when new updates come out but as I said in my edit my problems where actually solved by the steam version of mabinogi no idea how but hey I am happy :3 also thanks again for the help and I will remember what you said for future troubleshooting steps i need to do.  but the launcher i speak of isn't in tiaras install anymore so thus I am sticking to powerpatcher.

Glad to hear you got it sorted.  PowerPatcher took a bit for me at first to learn, but now I use it for a lot of things.  What I do when I set people up with mods is I make a copy of the folder that Mabi uses now (Nexon Launcher), then I install Tiara manually into it (as it triggers a message there) into that new directory and leave the other alone.  Then I use PowerPatcher in that new "to be modded" directory. I advise many to use Abyss to run their data folders as it's simpler that way when updates occur... You either switch datafolder=1 to 0 or you rename your data folder (or both) until the latest Tiara gets released.  I then show them how to maintain and troubleshoot while fixing it.  It takes a little longer, but is worth it in the long run.  Teach a man to fish thing...  Cheers~

Edit: I used a fresh file from 223 version and modified for doll pickup, now it works fine without crash.
