Hello! I was wondering if someone could help me figure out what I may be doing wrong with the Tiara install. It's been 4 years since I have played mabinogi, and now that life has finally settled down I decided to play again. I deleted all files and did a clean install of the game.

I just recently installed Tiara, and it gives me this weird message at the start of the download before I do anything.

C:\Nexon\library\mabinogi\patchdata\client.exe not found!

It has been awhile since I've done this so please excuse my ignorance to something that may be a simple solution. I have lurked the last couple days trying to find a solution before posting here.

So what was the reason the exploration maps were removed? Was this due to the revamped map update? Anyone know when was the last update with the working map?

Are listed within the readme, and I just verified as being there within the installer.  I also used a photoviewer to cycle through them to make sure.  So, no there've been no changes...  I'd check your install options when installing to make sure when installing, because they're indeed there.  The last update on these maps was around April 2013.

I have been just un-archiving the exe file to get the data folder (was told by Shaggy long time ago), and it looks like that doesn't get all files vs. going through the normal installation. I just tried to install it normally, and I see all the files.

"C:\Nexon\library\mabinogi\patchdata\client.exe not found!" is the wrong install directory, so of course your receiving that error.

I can't even download the thing; i have even removed adblock+ and it still says i have an ad blocking feature installed on my browser and doesn't allow me to actually download anything. could you maybe have a direct link to the installer?

Yeah adfly has been pretty crap, and the last time i got rid of the ad blocking features one of the ads tried to install some crap to my computer which i had to uninstall and block :U.

If it's chrome, make sure your extensions don't work in incognito, you can right click the chrome icon on the taskbar and launch an incognito window from there, or just hit ctrl+shift+n.  If any of your extensions, or some of the flags you may have changed, are what's causing the problem, this should immediately let you know should the link work.

Otherwise, try different a different browser.  About the best i can offer, advice wise.

I couldn't download it either using firefox, but tried microsoft edge and it downloaded just fine.  Good luck with it.

I agree, I think that would be best too.

Could be that your hosts file is set up to not allow connections to some sites (as this would persist across all modern browsers).  I know that Spybot "immunization" function did this years ago, not sure if it still does or what else might still be doing that.

How difficult would it be to repair the fossil restoration tool in autobot? It seems to be offset slightly to the bottom left (Red of about 2mm to top right and un-excavated/cleaned fossil is towards bottom left)

not too difficult, use restoration.ini to change x and y offsets

i've been trying to uninstall tiara but i plan to install it again, its just so mabi can patch itself. im not sure how to do it though. prior to this i had abyss installed and as soon as i discovered UO tiara which i just googled i installed it right away without uninstalling abyss. anyone know how to uninstall UO tiara that being said? xD

As far as I know there is an installer in the mabi folder however you should ALWAYS have a clean copy of the mabi folder backed up before you mod!

I do but I just don't wanna reinstall =/ back when I just used abyss i uninstalled it everytime there was patching needed to be done, and when it finished i just reinstalled it
Not sure if UO tiara's handled the same way

I didn't have any issues
but reinstalling tiara isn't a huge deal?

EDIT: @Shaggy I've tried to change the x/y coordinates in the config file however the x axis doesn't seem to be changing? instead of being diagonally misaligned it's just horizontally misaligned to the left.

Usually for abyss there are only like 6 files you delete and changing one file to uninstall it. for tiara there are too many files to delete, not sure how to since i never did it before =/
