Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

I'm trying to have my light melka chainmail appear as spaika armor. I wouldn't normally need help with this except i can't find the the files.  Their names aren't as obvious apparently so I'm having trouble deciphering whats what.

Check Itemdb.xml for the name of it. Find it in the pack file and check it using pmg viewer, which should be in the downloads section under tools.
