Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

English patch?

Is there such thing as an english patch for this game?
Or can anyone point me in the direction on how to change/translate from Japanese to english as I want to play on the Japan server.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can try replacing all of the *.japanese.txt files in language.pack with the *.english.txt, but some things may not show correctly ingame, so you would have to translate and merge in the conflicts.

Do I have to use some sort of unpacker for this sort of work? Sorry for the newbie question. I've just never done anything like this before. Thanks for the response!

Yeah, I think this is the one people usually suggest: https://github.com/logue/MabiPack/releases

EDIT: I should also add that it will not affect text sent directly from the server. That won't be possible to do with support on the forums.
