This is a video guide to use Dyelite. The video starts off with you already having Dyelite Downloaded.






Text Guide
1.Open up your Mabinogi and put it into windowed mode.

2. Change your Mabinogi theme to Gray Thin Glass Translucent

3.Open up your Dyelite and adjust your Mabinogi window so you can see Dyelite and Mabinogi.

4. Next Select the Color Code you Want from here, or use Google for one.  (Quote below from Rii)

5. Set the Minimum Dye spots. 3 is the fasts that is worthwhile. You can attempt to use 4 or 5 but it will take longer and a less change of find a spot.

6. Generally set the error percentage between 25-40.
   (Quote from Rii, will have some Mainstream colors.)

7. Then return to your Mabinogi and use your dye, select the item you want to dye, and the part. THen start the dye timer.

8. Alt+Tab to your Dyelite and press Start Dyeing.

9. Next move your cursor over the dye platelet.

10. If nothing is detected, stop the timer and then start it again.

11. Repeat until Dyelite rings and finds the stop.

12. Now this part is easier if you have Abyss and have unlimited Dye timer enabled. Put one of the boxes over the location that the *Here* is. If there is only one color, try putting another box over the location.

13. Click to select the spot you've found and begin the dying process. You should then have a 3/5ths chance to get the color you selected.

IMPORTANT – General Item/Fabric Differences

For Fabric, Black

You need to set up as 20~25 for Error Percentage..
Can set up 2~4 color points (mostly 3.) setting up by 4 will take a lot of time.
Web color code, #000000

For Leather, Black

You can't get more than 2, set up minimum point as 1,
with 'RGB 1,1,1' code. Set up Error Percentage as '0'

For Fabric, White

You need to set up error percentage as '30~40', recommend 30.
Can set up 2~4 color points, but hard to get 4 of them. Recommend to set up 3.
RGB code 255 255 255.

For Leather, White

same as Black for Leather, there's no real white color points. It's up to you.

For Fabric, Red

HARDEST one to get. Need to set up as 30~40 for Error Percentage.
can get only about 1~3, but mostly 2 points. Web Color code.. #990000 <important

For Fabric, Any other custom colors

Set up 30~50 Error Percentage.
set up 2~4 points (blue/greens are easy to get.)
RGB codes are on the board. Read it.

I find that the interface color does not affect dyelite for myself. I use the mod Mabinogi Art Online UI Fx MOD on red and it seems to work fine. Also I find it easier for it to be on manual with how many dye spots set to 1. When it's set to 1, dyelite not only looks for one instance of that color, but as many as it can. Just my experience with it ^^

When I use 1, I get exactly one spot, and I hav it on manual, not automatic I forgot to state that.

I dont have any dyes right now but I'll try again when i do have some. Ill  try to get one tomorrow..

I just used it yesterday and used auto mode. So it works fine for me.

Axel can you help me? I just extracted my dye lite to my desktop, but it doesnt connect with my mabinogi.. what should i do?    thnxx! for the reply

my dyelite is not synchcronize  to my mabi..  when i  use my dye amp ,it doesnt have numbers for r,g,b like yours in the video

I cant really tell but, is your game in windowed mode? Because usually that happens when your aren't in windowed. Also do you have teamviewer?  It's  would be easier to troubleshoot with that.

I got it, It only works on a certain PC/laptops, thnx for helping shaggy and AXEL , it works on my laptop with lower graphics card, but in my high end desktop, it cant recognize

Ok my bad I took a leave from mabi and the forums because I lost interest, so I'm back again. I'll check to see if it still wros though.

Does it move the cursor over to the middle of the dye palette for a moment and then proceeds to move over to click on the Cancel button? If so, when it first moves over to the dye palette, just quickly take control of the mouse for a moment and click on the "Start Dyeing" button to get it going, then let it take control of the mouse. This is the only way I have been able to get it to work on my laptop for the past few months.

I'm having the same problem described above where it will often just click cancel upon starting. Even if I do get it to work after a while it just hits the cancel button twice closing the dye window.

edit: ok so manual dying works much more reliably than auto, it's confusing to use and somewhat annoying. (ex: it finds the spot and shows "here" but then disappears and sometimes doesn't even show up again)

thank you for your very easly readable guide now that we have vip i was able to get 2 dyes on my first day and could not for the life of me get 3 colors i wanted

I didnt get the color i wanted in the end tho but this guide did help me understand dyelite much better very flat and laymans

Dyelite doesn't work for me. My problem is that it doesn't make my mabinogi window minimize or anything, and it also doesn't show the RGB color codes under each of the five boxes when I'm dying. I start mabi first, then I open Dyelite, then I start dying with the dye ampoule, and then I click Start Dye in Dyelite... Yet, it doesn't lock onto any colors I want.

I've been trying to dye white with 30% error and 3-5 boxes on that color.

Any help please?

EDIT: I found that when I put it on Manual it synced with my Mabi client... But I need the automatic feature to work. I can find the color myself, but I can't where it will be where I can get that color in 3 or more boxes. That's why I'd like the automatic feature to work. Help is greatly appreciated!

Automatic hasn't worked for Dyelight in years, there is a way to turn the dyelight to give you the spot you need to put your mouse to get your desired colors, but I'm afraid I do not remember at the moment. Sorry.

Also, try running as Admin.

Dyelite not working too well here. I ran Dyelite as admin, switch from auto to manual, put Mabi in window mode, turned on infinite dye from Abyss, started dye timer, alt tabbed to Dyelite, clicked the button, ignored some gibberish error, tabbed back to Mabi, and... nothing. Dyelite got the positions where the color I wanted was, but it wouldn't send the color codes back to Mabi. Not quite sure what is suppose to happen, since I haven't used Dyelite for years. Quite sure it was a lot easier last time though... then again, that's way back when there was an official Tiara Moonshine.

Please validate your Windows license.

And try changing your theme. Preferably to translucent Sky Blue.
