Nexon has updated NGS a while back, crippling all memory patchers for the time being. Unfortunately, there will not be any way to edit memory directly unless a full NGS bypass becomes available. Most data folder mods are not affected by this, but require a data folder packer to take effect in-game.

I'm sorry if i sound like a noob here but i'm new to the site. Where in the data folder do i put the files for this mod after i extract them? i assumed i was supposed to put them under data\gfx\character\human\tool but the visual didn't change when i loaded mabi. could you tell me where i was supposed to put the files? thank you

You have to rename the pmg file to the name of your weapon.
You place the dds file in data/material
And lastly you place the xml in data/material/_define/material/test

ok i hate to bring this up but there is no /test folder. and when i tried to create one the game crashes apon start up >_< sorry to be the guy who starts having problems

I've heard of people that get crashes when adding a file to the test folder but i'm not sure what causes it.

What would I rename the file if I want it to work with my ego? My ego was originally a Claymore but that doesn't work. I also doubt that the game would recognize it as "char name's egoname"


Edit: NVM, I found it. Just add "_ego" to the end of the weapon type.
