Why don't you just try using it? I'm just using your map mods since they never break (or almost never anyways)

Re-download the packs which have been corrupted through your modding. Now you can open Data Packer again and use 'Find', 'Modify'.

I think the packs can be found in the files section.

but... it didn't work (only thing that's changed is the R98 mod). and it's still doing the same thing... do you mean the mabi updates? cause those are so far the only PACK files I found? =s

also, idk if this helps but up until tonite, when I tried to update UOT, mabi was running just fine with the outdated mod... I'm hoping that this will give someone some hint to what the problem is. Oh, and if I try to start mabi, I can click the "start game" button but the hack shield bubble (with the little loading bar) doesn't appear.

i don't have the time to fully check it and have not logged into mabi since the mod that shall not be named because of the bugs that followed and nexon fails so now that G15 is giving incentive to play again i will check it in a day or two but halloween is also a big holiday for my family as we decorate our yard/house and dress up to scare the neighborhood kids so i will not have the time to check it for a few days; so i apologize about that and lack of tech support lately but i do have a life an occasionally i am obligated between family, friends and work versus my hobbies.

you tried UO Tiara R95 or R98 since i just updated it tonight and if R98 is the problem revert back to R95 ie "outdated mod" maybe you had R93 or whatever but let me know what version, if its latest version then it might have bugs as to be expected since i have not tested it and we'll at least be narrowing them down.

tested UO Tiara R98 up until character login, no crashes and initial items in inventory appear translated but have not tested any further.

Hmm...try this.
 - Remove Mods using Data Packer
 - Delete R97 to R98 .pack
 - Copy the one from files section in to Mabinogi\package\
 - Get Shaggy's newest version of UOT (Yeah, help him test if it works )
 - Delete your data folder and replace with the UOT R98 one
 - Run Data Packe -> 'Find' -> 'Modify'

Although, I'm not sure if I understood your last, last post correctly, but if you had installed R95 UOT, you might have to fix up your packs up to R95.

Did you fix up aircraftdesc.xml, dungeonruin.xml, dungeondb2.xml, propdb.xml, skillinfo.xml and then update the .txt's? That's basically all that was necessary to update UOT to R98.

yep, compared with WinMerge so they should all be updated but i'm not always perfect so yea.

alright, I'm gonna try clean slating mabi and just installing R98 (this is my last resort, since I'm starting to get a little confused). hopefully that'll work. Cause I don't know where to find the "file version" of R97 to R98. oh and the "older version" I spoke of was R95. ^^
but the only thing I like from the mods are the char animations, map zoom, and the clock... so if there's an easier way to just get those. I'd love the aid/links. ^^;

and again, I can't say how much I appreciate the help. thanks^^

file section is at the top left or here http://mabimods.net/index.php?action=tpmod;dl you may find those mods separate as a search and remember you need data packer to apply the data folder mods otherwise your best with a compilation like uo tiara as long as i keep it up to date and nexon fails less its an easy chose until you understand more about modding your data folder yourself which we have plenty of guides and helpful people for.

thanks for the link, so I just use it to replace my current version of 97 to 98, right? and yeah, it's all I can do atm, I have found a few animations that were single files (like a really cute walking one), but I only know how to make it work cause I just put it in the exact same spot as it said, but in the UOT folder... sorry if I wasn't meant to do that. ^^;

Btw, cross your fingers that this 97 to 98 is still the one which Nexon used to update today. The 97 to 98 in the files section is from 3 days ago.

I had no problems after updating it, and i updated it early also. yours should be fine.

Some people are getting PACK Malformatted errors. I have no idea why it'd happen, but Playtime said to redownload the 97 to 98 pack and re-Data Pack, so that's exactly what I said.

oh, yeah it made me redownload it anyway. but i used the 97_98 pack from before the final update and it works fine.
But when i say that i mean i used the files form the 97_98 pack to update the old files, not i'm using the old 97_98 pack to play with.

I didn't think there was a difference, it's still just what's inside of 97_to_98.

This is a pain, whenever I try to attach more than a MB's worth of file(s) it just says the page didn't load properly, so I couldn't upload my R94~97 for him X.X

usually the .pack's being malformated is because language.pack is corrupted/needs replaced.

I wouldn't know, never gotten it before. Though I'd assume it's a problem during copying packs when patching.

i got it twice during nexon updates and maybe partly to blame with early versions of tiara i tested and maybe screwed up before releasing but that was R90-R94 and always language.pack and still not sure if it was nexon or my bad with tiara that caused it.
