My data folder works perfectly fine even after the crt thingy.... I just want all my mods back.... How is the progress coming with all of that playtime?

Hi, guys! For some reason, I followed all of the instructions (below), but my game still looks the same as it would without the mod - the only difference is that I can see the UO Tiara logo picture when I start up the game. This seems to happen often when I try to install a new version of UO Tiara; is there maybe something I'm missing? Something I forgot to do or delete?

The only way I could see that happening, is if you'd already had UO Tiara installed. Have you perhaps used Shaggyze's autobot or had UO Tiara in the past?

If you want, run datapacker and "Remove Mods", log into the game to see how it looks, log back off, run datapacker again and "Find" and "Modify", then go back into Mabi to see what's different. Iria maps and modified font would prolly be the easiest indicators.

Autobot uses the same data folder, so if Ruizo really did follow all the instructions johnny gave, there shouldn't be a problem. So really, it might just be that he/she thinks UO Tiara still includes a patcher and its immediately visible functions e.g. CP Reader
Though these are just false accusations, but the point is that UO Tiara should work fully if you just have UO Tiara's newest version data-packed. Also, even if an old version of UO Tiara was still in the Mabi folder, almost all of the mods still work. Generally, the only things which are updated in each version of UO Tiara are race, itemdb or skill   .XML mods (and now, race and itemdb are both .txt, so really, UO Tiara probably only needs to update every half a year)

You download it first of all, then install it.
Go to C:\Nexon\Mabinogi and run data packer. (may have to right click and run as admin)
Click find (a list of changes should come up) then modify.
Then you are set.

Do NOT delete your db folder, you only need to delete the above files, most of you won't even have most of these, and the last one isn't db, it's just mabi/data

delete the files the guy above mentioned after that run data packer an select remove mods... then run data packer again an click Find an then Modify.... then try Mabi... if u still have trouble let me kno

So i have deleted the mentioned files and my mabi seemed to have patched fine to R9 and also ran fine. However, it sudden crashed and now will not run. I can run the application where the Client launcher will appear and I click play, but then nothing happens. I tried using data packer to remove my mods but it shows an abnorm error "PACK Malformatted"

See the "latest files" tab to the left of the site?  Grab the 97_to_98.rar and replace yours with this, and give it another shot.

okay so i was waiting for G15 and then i saw nexon fail with R98 but i did update UO Tiara to R98 anyway but not sure if i updated it at the right time (ie they might have replaced a faulty R98 with a good one in the last 12 hours that i missed?) and have not tested it ie have not logged into mabi but i will upload my R98 version now and see if it helps anyone of you in the meantime and will resort to fixing bugs with all of you testing and notifying me in the meantime because i don't have the time at the moment other then to do quick specific bug fixes so please be detailed about the problems you are having and we'll just hope for the best so that we don't cause too many more tech support issues on top of nexon fail.

in other words check mediafire for UO Tiara version R98 but for now i will not be updating AutoBot until i'm sure this version is compatible or modifying the topic names because i'm still waiting for personal/hobby time to fully test.

So I did as the instructions said:
1) Turn Down Your Speakers! (did that)
2) Download Unofficial Tiara's Moonshine ModG14S4-V95.exe (had this downloading while I read the instructions)
3) Choose Full or Custom to pick which edits you want installed. (chose custom and deactivated a few)
4) Open Data Packer.exe (did this)
5) If you have used it previously click Remove Mods (I believe I did this a little out of order, since I removed  then installed V95. Everytime I try to reopen Data Packer it said Pack malformatted, twice, and closes on me.)
5a) Click Find (can't get to this step)
6) Then Click Modify (can't get to this step)

I'm very new to this sort of thing, I have used UOT before, but this is the very first time it has caused me any problems. any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Re-download the packs which have been corrupted through your modding. Now you can open Data Packer again and use 'Find', 'Modify'.

I think the packs can be found in the files section.
