Didn't read the full discussion, but it seems some of you don't know what's doing what.
1. Tiara is a pack of resource-edited things. This includes/can include: models, xml-configs, various texts (but not all, since some things come from server), animations, textures and other images, sounds, TTF-fonts (NOT bitmap, although there is a modification for bitmap shading dds, but again it can't change all text to bitmap, it's only for default). Blue manashield character and red deadly character is also from Tiara, because it's a simple xml-edit mod.
2. Tiara doesn't need crackshield at all, only datapacker. Crackshield itself isn't needed for anything either, if you're not using Abyss.
3. If you're using Windows 8, you can't use Abyss, therefore you don't need crackshield at all.
4. Abyss gives you things like CP view, alt name color, bitmap font everywhere, more detailed info about items (but Tiara can change the description itself, so you can see that Jackal gives -500 cp) and other things, that you can view in its config. The only thing that Tiara can do with resource-editing, that Abyss can do with memory-hack is zooming map in Uladh.
5. It's not 100% safe to use Tiara now, since some main xml-configs were updated in the last patch, but it should not be very critical for now and you can wait for Shaggy to update Tiara with new ones, usually he does that quick.
