K i did all the steps to getting the mods and when i press start and error comes up and says client.exe - application Error. (The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142) No idea what i did wrong i merged mng and jap and used the patcher and i also have tiara instaled. Thanks for your time.

If I remember right, that error was from JAP, not compiling it properly.

Try it with just tiara and MNG, does the error still occur?

I can't locate ESL.clean anywhere on my computer but it says it's there on the launcher logs. All I can find on my computer is ESL.dll.

Maybe you didn't even install the ESL.dll patcher...? From reading your post on the MNG thread, it could also be caused by having certain mods turned on which aren't functioning atm.

Unofficial Tiara doesn't come with ESL.dll or ESL.clean anymore.
It' s just the data folder.

If you want JAP working also, you'll need to speak to Oxy or someone with knowledge of JAP.

lol my original post was that UO Tiara didn't have ESL.dll/ESL.clean anymore, but then I read a post by Kota in a dif thread posted at the same time that it had ESL.dll/ESL.clean so I edited to say it didn't install properly :<

If you're using a new Mabinogi folder, just get the NEWEST Unofficial Tiara, put it in, get a patcher (such as MNG or Jap) or DATA PACKER 1.3 So that you can activate the data folder mods.

NEWEST? they dont update the thread? i took my tiara from the sticky. and where can i find patcher or the data packer? i tried searching the forums and it wasnt obvious enough for something so important.
just so things are clear., all i have is tiara and MNG. there is no .clone file and the mods were working. its just that it has now begun to crash with the HS error. oh, and my friend showed me the DATA PACKER and it didnt find any mods.

Okay, make sure the data folder AND DATA PACKER are in your Mabinogi folder. Then run DATA PACKER as admin, AND THEN click on 'Find', 'OK', 'Modify', 'OK'. And yes, the stickied Tiara should basically always be up-to-date.
And as johnny said, you can just use MNG or JAP (patchers) to enable the Tiara mods.

That fix was for an old error, I left on my guide because people like to be stupid and use mods that have been broken for several months, and whine when they won't work.

Remove MNG.
If you have JAP, remove that too.

So now, you have nothing but a data folder.
Download the data packer, place it in your mabi folder.
Right click it, run as admin.
Click find.
Click modify.
Close it and now run mabi.

Does it work?
>If yes;  Carry on and read below.
>If no;  Data packer, remove mods.  Delete itemdb and racedb.  Now repeat the above.  It should now work.

Now, install MNG, or JAP.
I don't care which, whatever one you'd rather have.

Extract the files, and place all 3 in your  mabi folder.
Open the .ini file, turn off food quality, and some others (go to the thread for the patch itself, and look for which were broken/if those were fixed yet)

Now, run mabi, does it work?
If yes; Good job, now you have mods !
If no; Post any error codes or screenshots of errors you get, either right here in my thread, or in the thread for the patcher you chose to use.


Now, if it all works, you can decide to merge the two patchers, however, I can NOT give you any tech support in the event you get errors while merging them.

You forgot to Click 'OK' twice.

And if people just read the whole thing and thought about going through from the start, they'd have basically no errors. Most problems I see are due to outdated Tiara, wrong order of 'installing' mods, and lastly the MNG Thread Delay, Protect, etc.

I'm just wondering, because of the first posts here, in the R84 Report thread, and in the Tiara thread, but is Tiara updated like it says in the Title of the Tiara thread or is it still outdated like it says here and in the report?

 Yesterday, I kept crashing when entering a boss room. (one in Ciar Basic HM and another in Alby Normal)
Does that mean something was wrong with my data folder?

And I also had the 0x00010705 Error, which means... outdated dlls? Or something to do with the Thread Delay in MNG?

I'm wondering because both today and yesterday I got that error once, yet it didn't happen the second time I started Mabi.

Searching told me to try MabiRefresh.
That's the correct thing to do, right?

And the crashing upon entering the boss rooms in Dungeons is because of... outdated xmls?
I got rid of Tiara and downloaded the updated version, so should that fix that problem?

Okie dokers.

Used MabiRefresh and now it's patching.
And also got the new XMLs from an updated Tiara so that should fix the problems. xD

It worked out great!
No problems anymore!
Increased the Thread Delay on MNG and Installed Tiara after MabiRefresh-ing.

Yep, error was from .dll's and the boss cutscene was from the boss cutscene video in data folder (uh duh )

Oh and Playtime, I thought you updated your guide, why does it say Unoffiial Tiara G14S1 when it's G14S3
