Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

I find that most problems with JAP are related to Pre-Win 7, good thing I have a Win7  ;D

Did you try renaming MNG to MNG.dll and dropping it inside EarlyHooks/?

The "community" as it may be referred to has hit the toilet and been flushed permanently it seems.. sites like this and epvp are overrun with people too lazy to read or even search for a solution. I know that it's not any one person's fault but this is an issue that needs to be addressed, whether it be by an overhaul or just the complete disbursement of people. I am sick of answering the same questions over and over again. it's very disappointing to do. I come here and look at the newest posts and its mostly "I can't get mng's thread delay time right" or "how do I make X mod work" when there is a guide in the thread's op and answered about 39 times in as many pages. This site is headed down the path that lemu went down, it's depressing. Until the community takes a turn for the better I am not going to offer any more help. I'm going to focus on myself and my site. I will still lurk though...

For some reason i can't use the datapacker. Im on vista. It saids to copy to the dir then run. Which it is in. and when i start mabi, it gets to the news page but i cannot press game start

Install dir, being mabi's(not data folder), run being the data packer, not mabi.

Move data packer to mabi folder, right click > run as admin.
Hit find, hit modify.

Run mabi, tada! Your data folder now works.

Ok, let's see if we can put this as easily as possible. You have data packer. You extract it, copy paste it, drag and drop it, etc. into you're mabi directory. General directory is located in C:\Nexon\Mabinogi. From there you have UT downloaded. Now run it and install it. Now right click and run as admin, for the data packer. From there just click find. It will come up with a list of data folder mods. Then when it's done click modify. Walah working data folder.

Never know helps to restate everything, make sure they didn't make a stupid mistake or skip a step.  Teamviewer is obviously the better bet, but it doesn't hurt to try to help  ;D

No wonder your guide never has any ways-to-get-errors on it, most people who get errors are doing/have done something wrong, and are usually bad with computers, leading to the conclusion that they accidently did something in the past which screws up their mods which screws up their client.

People seem too stupid to realize "copied to your clipboard" means IT WAS COPIED TO YOUR FREAKING CLIPBOARD!

People don't even realize they get errors ask what they did wrong.
I've had 4 people now PMing me thinking they simply skipped something and asked me to check their stuff, in the end, their problem was they were trying to use rhapsody.

So I ask every time now, for errors.
