Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

I'm not sure how anyone could actually read WhiteRabbit, but someone suggested it on the old lemu.faucet forums and it was very popular with Amaretto.

Well, I changed ESL.dll to ESL.dataread. So now you can either data pack and ESL.dataread lies in your Mabinogi folder, or use MNG and rename ESL.dataread to ESL.dll.


Oh and I personally didn't like White Rabbit, it was lagless but just a bit too blocky for my taste.  You can still get it of course, but Sansation is in there by default now.

Yeah. I've got my BusAccident font which I'll be using.

So if I'm not mistaken I can download UT, rename UT's ESL.dataread to .dll (ofc rename the original .dll to something else), use MNG and not need Data Packer?

This re-raises my curiosity about what specifically MNG -does-.

In that case I would have to ask..

If MNG is essentially a semi-bypass but Data Packer works without one and everything that currently does work is based out of the Data Folder, hence handled by Packer, what do we need MNG for? Unless the reply to that is "private .dll edits".

EDIT: Waiiiit a second. I re-checked the front page just in case. MNG is for getting rid of the HS error if you get it, isn't it?

Didn't think of that, since earlier in the thread people very vehemently (and frustratedly) state "No, you won't get CP. No, you won't get zoom."

Only zoom isn't working atm. Out of the basic Fantasia mods, it's a small sacrifice.

Granted, although I admit I'd trade CP to get Zoom anyday. This game is so zoomed-in until you go to homesteads, and then it's suddenly "look how far away the camera can go!"

Maybe I'm just too used to combat with a 4k zoom limit.

I have. in the simplest way I could possibly think to put it, a step by step guide of how to use data packer so it works, I even put step by step on where to click to FIND the darn thing.

all it allows are memory modifications. that is all.
The "community" as it may be referred to has hit the toilet and been flushed permanently it seems.. sites like this and epvp are overrun with people too lazy to read or even search for a solution. I know that it's not any one person's fault but this is an issue that needs to be addressed, whether it be by an overhaul or just the complete disbursement of people. I am sick of answering the same questions over and over again. it's very disappointing to do. I come here and look at the newest posts and its mostly "I can't get mng's thread delay time right" or "how do I make X mod work" when there is a guide in the thread's op and answered about 39 times in as many pages. This site is headed down the path that lemu went down, it's depressing. Until the community takes a turn for the better I am not going to offer any more help. I'm going to focus on myself and my site. I will still lurk though...

I'd just like to put it out here that if you'd like to trade CP viewing for ZOOM, Kotarou has updated JAP with zoom mods, but he still hasn't gotten CP viewing to work (as far as I know)
