Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

I am pretty sure if you look FalinGrave that the sounds are located in the mp3 folder that is just in the Mabinogi directory (C:/Nexon/Mabinogi/mp3).

They might not be able to, but its the best that can be done for the public as of now :/ . It still does a good job for the most part.

A working bypass to allow the MNG patcher has been posted on other publicly-viewable forums.

The popular package itself is actually flawed a bit and incomplete, but directions on installing it properly can be found in various threads.

those methods do not work on all pc's and most the packages used obsolete bypass's so best not to even mention it else you'll find people trying and failing at it and pestering you on how you were lucky enough to get it working.

Good for those sites. But as Shaggyze has mentioned most people can't even get it to work. Either way, enough of speaking about that patcher. Its not allowed here, k?

This is probably way out of the modding area, but would a flycam be possible, or would that be borderline hacking?

The idea behind it is for machinima purposes, instead of the camera being locked onto the player, control is released to allow the camera to fly around the map, allowing for better angles and better quality video without having to zoom in on characters that aren't the player.

Like noclipping on GMod or something.

I think Renderer2 exports some functions that change the position of the camera...

A bypass is entirely different from a type of patcher, yo.

Is there a way to change how your character stands? Like with visually swapping clothing, I want to change it to a certain npc's. What files would I need to extract/rename etc? o.o

Just go look at mabi unpack, look under data/gfx, the file you want is an ".ani"
You're not going to tell me what you what to stand like, so I'm not going to be able to tell you exact file names, just dig around in that gfx folder, try npc folder as well.

Fl0rn's guide is just that, mine is section 4.1 only.

During the quiz show some people would walk around on like X for example when everyone was on O and the answer was O and he wouldn't get kicked and he got a ticket.
And throughout the quiz show he'd purposely stand on the wrong answer knowing he wouldn't even get kicked.

How did he do that? :D

Well you can glitch into the event.
You won't get tickets for it and you can distinguish real people doing the quiz to fake people.
People who haven't glitched into the event will make the O if they're in the O and X if they're in the X.
People who glitch into it will not do these animations.
So he won't get kicked since he's not doing the event.
He shouldn't be getting tickets if he glitched into the event though.
So that's where I'm confused.

I have heard rumors so far of a mod that is allowing players see your log in info in game? Anyone know anything about this? I know I am not too well known but I was part of Haze on Tarlach before the reboot, and a modder before that.

It would be possible to see certain things, but nothing that gives them your login.

The closest thing you'll get to people getting your login is screwing up trying to mod, and posting your error information somewhere but forgetting to delete the account name line.
So don't be worrying.

Does anyone know what "box" the new item rollover indicators use in interface.dds?
What I'm talking about:

Interface I'm testing makes the boxes annoyingly blocky and white.

this has been asked a few times now and i'm also curious about it even though i have not done any graphic modding for mabi and i don't have the time atm to find out myself...
lucky enough to even have the time to get on for updates and few tech support issues before i'm gone for another few days.
