Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

gee, thanks for being rude guys, honestly, I was just hoping that maybe someone was feeling nice and willing to help me out. tho I guess not. . . well, whatever. thanks for telling me that they're working. atleast now I know that hunting isn't gonna lead to disappointment. . . . I really wanna say something rude, tho well. . . I'll get over it and be happy when I find them. also, I tried the MNG thread, and the links it gave, they didn't work for me.

well, thanks for the help. wish it wasn't so rude^^

We're always willing to help. However. Dealing with people that don't want to do a few SIMPLE clicks, is something we don't like..

If you'd like to EXPLAIN. What went wrong with MNG. Thats something we can help with. Infact. You're reading a post from one of the tech support specialists on this site right now.

Just an FYI, say all the rude things you want, and we'll dish them right back at you, and force you to go somewhere else to find your mods.

well, that's the thing, I'm still getting used to this site and how it works. I've only recently began posting because before I had a friend who'd help me tho he stopped playing. that and well, I tried finding any URLs on this thread, but well, I guess I didn't search hard enough or misread something. also I really don't know what I did wrong with the MNG one, I'm assuming it's my bad cause I'm again, new to modding, my friend was the one who helped me again, but I installed it as someone who was nice to me said to, tho it didn't work, granted the instructions aren't very detailed but I was thankful that someone was helping me. the reason why I'm not saying rude things is because I don't like to "Treat others as you wish to be treated." I will speak my mind how now idk maybe I will find another site to find my mods on, cause I have to be honest, for my second time posting something I can't say I feel welcomed.

(EDIT: in all seriousness tho, I am sorry if I came off rude. in the sentence above. I'm just having an off day)
also, I check how I did the MNG thingy, and well, idk if this is right tho help would be great, but basically what I did was the MNG files into mabi's folder, turned it on the "use data thingy" and tweaked it a little (changing 0s to 1s) so that way it'd turn on/off the mods I wanted tho when I booted up mabi it didn't change anything about the game. this probly belongs in the MNG thread than here. but well, it's sorta to answer your "explain" paragraph.

It may be simple to understand, but it's not helpful content.
Think about it. Someone who doesn't know how many other leeches asks questions, ask the same question. Their lack of knowledge is the reason why they may ask the same question without looking, yet getting rage from everyone and they're not entirely sure why.
Have patience.

Question : Does the unlimited auto production modification still work?

EDIT; Nevermind, I  forgot that I had to use a data packer to get data folder stuff to work.

Is there a mod (or possibly to make one) that will allow you to store music scrolls in your pets or bank? It would be very usefull. also i was thinking maybe being able to open your mail without being at a mailbox? like you could just click the envalope at the bottom right of the screen if you have mail(or something)

Best you can hope is have a friend hold onto it and go log in as a pet. Have your friend drop it and pick it up while being the pet you want to store it on. Only method unless that got fixed.

I have a request. It's hopefully a small one.

In short, the party board is useful. Is it possible to make the Exploration Chronicle button open the Party Board to compliment the Party->Housing board mod? Hardly anyone uses it.

It might be possible, but finding a patch for it will be... time consuming.

I have a question -- I'm using a computer that had a lot of old mods, and after r81, I can only craft hp/mp/stam 50 potions, and I cannot make a lot of the handicraft items.  I know this is probably one of my leftover mods, does anyone know what I should get rid of to fix it?

Nexon's fault. Look at Mabinogi World Wiki, lol.
But don't worry, I don't think public mods would intentionally do that.

So here's what I did:

1:Put MNG.ini into Mabinogi folder
2: Put dbghelp.dll(one that was linked, 136kb) into mabinogi folder
3: Edited some of the 0's into 1s.

So it gave me this message when I tried to launch:

[05/19/11 20:11:08] - ACTION: Performing DLL Loading
[05/19/11 20:11:08] - ERROR: Failure to load library
[05/19/11 20:11:08] - SUGGESTION: was the original dbghelp.dll renamed dbghelp.orig?
[05/19/11 20:11:10] - ERROR: Failed to load proxy DLL

I'm allowed to ask this here, right?

Wrong section, you forgot to also place in dbghelp.orig,.

I tried stacking MNG and r29 JAP. This is what I did:

"0" on everything on MNG.ini.
"1" on almost everything on JAP.ini

Renamed MNG's dbghelp.dll to dbghelp.dl_, and used that instead of the one that came with .29 JAP.
Used dbghelp.orig from MNG.

Then I get the follow error message:
Quote from: Error Message
Microsoft Visucal C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Mabinogi\Client.exe
R6030
- CRT not initialized.

Error message pops up right as the "v1.2 JAP Transparency FTW!" box pops up.

If I run client with only the original .29 JAP, it works fine. If I run the client with only MNG, it works fine.
Anyone that had success running these two patchers together do any different?

I too get this message the only way I found a way around this was to normally use JAP, then make a directory in your mabinogi folder called EarlyHooks then place the dbghelp.dll (MNG) in it (It can be renamed for easier use), and keep the dbghelp.orig, MNG.ini in your Mabinogi folder.
But I would prefer to use dbghelp.dll (JAP), dbghelp.dl_ (MNG) and dbghelp.orig, so if there is a way to fix that message please tell :D

It doesn't have to be renamed to EarlyHook.dll. It can be renamed to anything.dll, such as MNG.dll

I'm having trouble stacking JAP and MNG together, no matter what I've tried :s
Using the EarlyHooks folder method only loads JAP and leaves out MNG, putting the MNG dbghelp.dll as the .dl_ for JAP causes it to crash, and..
Option 4: Rename the patcher you want to stack with MNG as dbghelp.dln (Only works with patchers of the same library.)
this method doesn't work for me either. Loading either one separately works, but I can't seem to stack them. Have I missed something? Using the compiled r29 JAP as well, if that matters.

I got both of them to work by using the "EarlyHooks" folder method mentioned above. I put the normal JAP stuff goes on the outside, and the "MNG.dll" inside the EarlyHooks folder. I made sure that anything that is "1" on one patch is "0" on the other patch.

What errors are you getting?

Putting the MNG dll in EarlyHooks doesn't give any error, it just doesn't load MNG. Vice versa with trying to stack JAP with MNG's dll, it just doesn't load JAP. And using the MNG dll as dl_ gives the R6030 error mentioned earlier.

Strange. I am using both JAP and MNG using the above method. I know for sure MNG loads because it shows CP/item durability detail, which JAP didn't have a working version of.

I am using Windows Vista.

FOUND THE ISSUE.
I was testing around with a friend, and it worked for her when she renamed the MNG dbghelp.dll to MNG.dll, when I left mine unchanged as dbghelp.dll. Hers worked and mine still crashed, changed the name and it's working now.
