Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

I noticed that MalevolentZero requested an elf lag fix for r77, I was wondering if someone would make one for r79?
I know its just a simple switch for some people. I, on the other hand, tried to use the guide on epvp and couldn't make it past the search part. It would be greatly appreciated if someone with more experience would do this and upload a modded standard.dll

Honestly, the only thing I want is the animation mods, mainly holding the bow in the Crash Shot pose when using just normal archery, the gathering one, for a while, I had a walking animation that made you walk like you were on the fashion show catwalk, I'd like that one back, or one that looks more normal for walking than mabi's normal one. . . well, basically any animation mod that's out there cause they're my favorites^^
oh, the clock showing the minutes would be good too it makes time feel like it's going by faster in mabi, and the map zoom mod. lol

if anyone does actually take the time to get those for me, I have this to say to you: "Domo arigato gozaimasu" (tyvm in Japanese) X3

Minutes = need a patcher
map zoom = easy to make yourself
Crash Shot pose = in files section
Walking animation = in files section.
Did you bother checking, first?

May I request a bitmap font that doesn't lag.

Edit: Does anyone know what the font that Gerentxparty had? I can't find it since its a memory patcher and also how do you get rid of the shadows behind the text/font.

This is the one I use. It takes a little getting used to, but zero lag!

In the Tiara thread I was trying to figure out how to get the default tiny bitmap font that you can choose in Gerent and I believe in Tiara, as well as it being the default font for the japanese Mabi client. I wanted to replace the white rabbit font that I'm currently using with that bitmap font but found out its possibly a .dds file instead of .ttf file? I've been reading for a few hours now and found this thread about DDS font.

Well, I just wanted to ask that even though I have my data folder working thanks to data packer, will the .dds file not work right now because it needs a main patch system? I believe that is what the thread is stating but my brain is just a bit fried right now from all the searching I've been doing. Thank you.

Yeah it is, so can anyone figure it out. I know Joe can since he was the one who put that font in Gerent. But I can't PM him so I have no choice to put in this thread.

as ubergurl has discovered bitmap fonts need a .dll memory patch to enable them, and the fonts are stored in .dds and go in data/gfx/gui/font_eng.dds so it wasn't joe adding them but a combination of gerent and uo tiara; but without a patcher it's useless.

What causes a mod to stop working, is it the patchs the mod inserts like, cp viewer and such are changed to a different spot and the patch can't apply, hackshield detects the way it hooks, or the spot it hooks, or what.

I'm just curious to how the update mods to work from an earlier state.

No. It's just hackshield detecting the memory modifications

So, it's the patcher itself that has to be fixed.

I tried using your jap patcher with fail xp

Also compiled with jap patcher it gets to the title screen, but when you goto login it crashes
