Was wondering if there's anything mod related for aiming speeds or accuracy! I'm having a horrible time with Dan Magnum as its based on luck at this point.. So just wondering if there's something out there I remember Zero shot was once a thing? thanks!

Hey, I was just reading around the site what's different about each patcher that is posted (i.e Abyss does x while Tiara Moonshine does y and z) and I have a hard time trying to understand what Frontend is supposed to do in general. I'm not trying to ask where to download it, just what is it. o:

Hey, I was just reading around the site what's different about each patcher that is posted (i.e Abyss does x while Tiara Moonshine does y and z) and I have a hard time trying to understand what Frontend is supposed to do in general. I'm not trying to ask where to download it, just what is it. o:

Patcher = memory edit
Tiara = data edit

Patchers change how the game functions, such as borderless fullscreen mode, altering the default ranged attack to auto-load magnum (or other) instead, embedding CP view into alt view, etc.
Data edits change how the game appears to function. Such as fonts, textures, etc. Mostly for lag reduction.  But there are a few extra things you can do such as adding items to the list that dolls will pick up.

Recommended to have tiara + 1 patcher (such as abyss or kanan)

Frontend is... A frontend.

Frontend -
COMPUTING
(of a device or program) directly accessed by the user and allowing access to further devices, programs, or databases.

Short version: It manages all your mods for you.  Also downloads them for you and updates your game, and can repair your install if you break it.

The \data\gfx\font\ folder contains the font files, and KR has the exact same files we do.



Looks like korean.ttf isn't a proper font, and alphanumeric.ttf only has 573 glyphs in it (most of them being latin-supplement).
So chances are they're using one of the nanumgothic files like we are, since it has 20,368 glyphs and includes Korean.

I thought they were using some sort of bitmap + vector mix, since the names and typing looks like bitmap, but the damage numbers look like our default vector numbers. I'm dumb though don't take my word for it.

It's in the option menu.
They're disabled for a reason though, don't turn them on.

They're disabled because they're known to cause problems or otherwise just straight do not function anymore.

Yes. Sadly I can't remember where it was off the top of my head... Abyss maybe? Kanan?

I just checked my current abyss.ini file, and its not one of the options there.

I MIGHT be thinking of an outdated patcher mod... I can't remember if it broke or not. Been so long.
If it's not already in kanan though, it should be possible to make.

The way item quality works changed, and I don't think it's actually stored on the item anymore.  If you packet log you can get the server to tell you the quality when you "get" the item (in a trade or picking it up off the ground) but I've tried a few times and have been unable to find item quality in the instance structure.

Ideally, I'd like to remove the associated animation entirely without having to swap files, but I'm not sure what I should be looking for, and itemdb.xml doesn't seem to have anything associated with run animations. Any help would be appreciated.

Trying to get back into mabi after having to reset my laptop some months ago.  Finding most of the mods I used to have is easy, but there's one thing that's bothering me.  I could have sworn I used to have some sort of file that had a modified list of graphics card rules, but my recent searches have come up empty.  Not sure now if I'm using the wrong search terms or if I just imagined the whole thing.

Try removing the "/wing_shoes/" tag in itemdb.xml. Remember to use the latest itemdb.xml.

Yeah, I've not heard of  that either.  I wasn't around for the old site, but I've been here since the creation of this one.  Very confused lol
