I can't get Mabi to patch.
I've tried using PP and the old fashioned patcher, but it doesn't work.
I've tried using Frontend to re-download the main files.
But, I'm not sure what else could effect the patcher from working.

Hi.

Was wondering if there was a way to remove item descriptions from the text box that pops-up when you roll-over an item.

I find it really annoying that I can't see the reforge on my Knight Lance, among other items because my screen's resolution is too small to accommodate the text found within.

Mod your itemdb.english.txt and remove the description.

Maybe I'm just being elitist but like... 1920*1080@60, not one of those three numbers are high enough.

Yeah, see, mine is 1366x768. :>

It's going to stay that way until I start working and earn enough for a desktop, but, until then, dinky laptop it is. :B

I edited race.xml so that my doll bags will pick up marbles but theyr only grabbing about 50% of em anyone know why?

Is it possible to turn off the ability to attack a deactivated orb? Like for SMs or dungeon, you hit an orb to activate it and trigger a spawn, once activated it can block skills like shooting rush if you accidentally click it rather than the ground. So just wondering if i can stop that.

Well I'm looking at propdb and propstatedb and there's a number of switches, you can try setting addcollision to false on the "off" variants manually in propstatedb, or in propdb you could edit Actions to be blank or something, Idunno'.

pardon me if I don't read enough or something, but is there a way to replace the Korean characters or item codes in Tiara? Like how newer items are in Korean
ex. the celtic guardian staff is now xml.itemdb.52613

Search this site for xml.itemdb. Leave the numbers at the end off, don't include them. The second result will supply more than enough information.

I'm having more problems with item codes appearing in the place of the actual item names. I had to reinstall tiara/abyss and now when i remove xml.itemdb.txt from both xml files it just makes everything have an item code in place of a name. Is there any way to fix that?

Another question I have is how do I turn off always noon sky? Tried deleting skydome but it didn't work out.

Go read the first post of the updated tiara thread for the time of day thing.
As for the item codes, delete the XML and then remove and repack your mods. Or see an updated mod thread for new ones.

So I followed what the thread said and what you said and removed the itemdb.txt files and the .RAW files mentioned in the tiara thread, then went into data packer and removed mods then clicked find then modify again, but my problem is still there. Can you tell me where I went wrong? I'm sorry once again if I can't follow instructions well enough

IIRC you should have found and removed in packer before deleting the files.

Also if you use Abyss there's no need for data packer.

If restoring the files and then finding/removing again doesn't fix it... reinstall mabi or do something else to get clean packs, sorry. And then start using Abyss so you don't need to mess with data packer.
