Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Is there any available elf lag fixes out or could you tell me how to animation swap...something like that. Is a method I heard from someone.
Apparently elf lag has been fixed since G16.
eventhoughthere'snothingtofixbecausethere'snothingfuckinglagging.

Memory patching in the sense that doesn't also allow gamebreaking features to be done with minor editing is no longer possible with previous methods. So first we would have to establish a better, doable method. So no, probably not soon.

What is everyone's favorite tools and must-have applications for mabinogi?
I really enjoy the Mabicooker for when I'm cooking and I recall there being more utilities out there for Mabi, I just can't seem to find them.

3rd party executables, mods, what-have you... favorites?

When i'm actually playing, the bandit spotter.  But nexon's screwed up the bandit spawns too, since g16 started, and the bandit spotter isn't at its best potential till that's fixed.

2nd favorite would be removing the feature for the auto-charge on magic.  It's glitchy and randomly decides to auto charge for me, which gets me hit a lot.  Nexon mentioned that there's no feature to turn auto-charge off, as a known issue, so it is assumed they will patch this later on.  Though, when later is one can only guess.

Does anyone know where the files for "Request Mount" are when a human requests to mount a giant? Specifically looking for the command that gets used when requesting mount of a giant.

It's a network packet, so you'll find it in Client.exe

Well that's a shame, I was really hoping it would be something along the lines of <cmd name=requestmount target=1 /> or something, I wanted to see if I could get the maid to get on a giant's shoulder.

Oh well.

Fishing notification pop up, that you're about to start auto-fishing along with the fishing mini-game.  Is there an xml i can mess with to move their default positions around, the windows themselves.  Annoying to have the "catch" button pop up near the middle of the screen, then the fishing game on the right side.

And requesting a run down of the ftp for mabinogi.  I know the directory, and i see the files i want, but i got no clue what to do/how to use the files.

Is there anything to manage the MP3 folder?
Programming it shouldn't be all -that- hard, right?
A copy-paste program that keeps track of the current MP3's original file name.

It seems like this would exist.

I don't know what you're trying to say because your sentences have no real subject.
But uh, is this what you're talking about?

No, I mean a program that replaces the MP3s in the MP3 Folder and keeps track of what the new MP3 you just copied in was named/titled.

So, Say, you use it to replace Trust In Your Force with.... Never Gonna Give You Up.

You open the program. It brings up a window with boxes. One box has 2 columns, the other box has your MP3 Library.
In the 2-column box, the left column has the names of the MP3s in the MP3 Folder (Boss.mp3, Field_XX.MP#, etc.) OR details about the mp3(Boss Music, Tir Chonail Theme, Ferghus Theme) and the other side has what it was named when the program was used to copy it in. (RainbowRock.mp3, Rock_Lobster.mp3, HurricaneDial.mp3).

So, in the 2-column box, you click the track for the Rundal Boss Music, and in the library box, you click your rickroll song, click a "Replace" button and BAM! You set yourself up to get trolled while fighting a Cyclops, and, so you don't forget, the new Right-column in the 2 column box now says "Rick Roll", which is what you titled that MP3.

There. Is that more clear?

Also, thank you for pointing me to that jukebox.
It's going to be so helpful as I manually change out MP3s

pretty sure this program doesn't exist short of media players that allow you to write comments to the mp3 tag and i doubt it will be made since you could just keep a list in a document of what you have swapped.

Off-topic, but mentioned in the new Solaris mod thread: is multi-clienting disallowed here, as a mod feature?  I fail to see the reasoning, personally.  I have a few alt accounts i use for storage (anyone who did BS/tailor pre-pouches knows there is just no way to store all the mats you need to stockpile), and it's just so much more convenient to do direct trades w/ multiclient than to mail things back and forth.  And it's nothing that you can't do with a second computer or VM anyway.  Unlike actual harmful things like duping, insta-aim, stacking, etc.

I read the forum rules, but did not see anything regarding what constitutes a 'banned' mod.

If I remember correctly, we banned it from here due to the method to enable it (after our original one was taken out)

I honestly, don't remember ever actually seeing anything stating it wasn't allowed here... I am going to check about that with Marck in a moment.

never but sometimes its used as a 'maybe' with a following 'but' clause.

Stupid and unnecessary question alert!
Is there a way to dull or mute the bandit heartbeat sound? Its rather loud in comparison to most things in mabi.

Yes, it's actually one of the things used in my bandit spotter.  Open data\db/commercommon.xml.  The following code is not the whole file, it is only the relevant part copy/pasted from my file.  It will look different for anyone without the bandit spotter.

Code: [Select]
<RobberHeartbeats>
<RobberHeartbeat DistanceLess="500" PulsePerMin="100" Volume="1.0" CharAlpha="1.00" />
<RobberHeartbeat DistanceLess="1000" PulsePerMin="80" Volume="1.0" CharAlpha="1.00" />
<RobberHeartbeat DistanceLess="1500" PulsePerMin="60" Volume="1.0" CharAlpha="1.00" />
<RobberHeartbeat DistanceLess="1900" PulsePerMin="40" Volume="1.0" CharAlpha="0.95" />
<RobberHeartbeat DistanceLess="999999999" PulsePerMin="0" Volume="0.0" CharAlpha="0.8" />
</RobberHeartbeats>

You see there where the whole section is robber heartbeats.  Change the volume to 0.0-0.9 to lower it.  If you want it off, then just set all the volume values to 0.0.

Important: While it says robber heartbeat, do not delete the entries thinking that will remove the heartbeat.  The DistanceLess section determines what range you can spot the bandits at.  If you delete the entries, i expect you will not be able to spot the bandits anymore, until after they spawn.

Anyone happen to know the governing xml for the xp bar?  Not the one in the character sheet, but on the bottom of the screen.

Have an easy to read font that i like, but it's a bit broad.  My xp bar will often display the level of my character, but cuts out the % xp i've gained on my level.
