Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

This might be better suited to the UOT thread, but I just wanted to ask why (in UOT at least) the code and xml directories are duplicated?

I did a quick test removing the ones in the root of the data directory and then noticed that some of the changes weren't working anymore. Not sure if it's because I made updates to the ones at the root and not the ones in local or something similar. I'm assuming there is a reason that the directories are duplicated and just want some clarification so I know if I need to edit both, only one or the other, and if I can just get rid of the extra copy.

Thanks for your time and help.

the xml and code folders in root and local are meant to be duped due to data packer needing them in root to apply the mods to language.pack which takes precedent over XX.pack and for patcher's that read them in data\local.

almost everything has a features list; sometimes in spoilers and some have videos.  so i don't see what isn't descriptive.

usually the category and title of the file speaks for itself; and sometimes with an image or link to a thread, but i admit most do have the bleh description that isn't always needed to tell what it does.

The screenshots also are often resized to disgusting resolutions, and very often cut out important sections of the image.

Files section.
Click a category.
Click a mod.
Download mod.

I even went and picked some random mod, just to see if it works, as expected, it did.

they all still work for the most part; as for the hackshield bypass you won't find it here.

like the mss.dll file needed to actually work the mod cant replace the original because it says the file was altered.

right...
you won't find methods to allow that or other file replacement here as far as hackshield is concerned.

you can still use the data folder mods here with data packer.exe but as for dll modding you'll have to search elsewhere for now.

I believe i gave a link to playtime for a great resource on learning how to dll mod. not specifically that, but it teaches you everything you need to know in order to make logical decisions based on the mod you want to make, and be able to edit the file in the right manner.

I'd ask him for that link since i just woke up and cbf to remember what it was called.

im not a serious modder though, so if mods are dead for me then their dead.. besides.. im more of a hands on/visual learner so showing a link or video wouldn't help me at all. thanks for the help though.

Is there anything that finishes tailoring/blacksmithing minigames? Like a macro or something?
