News

Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

If I remember right, it is possible to fix it, but  it's just not viable at this point.
There was a thread about it someplace...

But as is, no, it doesn't work.

they're just random :v

Though for some reason the one on the left of the door after you enter the room seems to open the next door often, so try hitting that one last? xD

they're not random, proff's frontend has a timer you can use.

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to put my pets on the #1-9 hotkeys. I remember it working before, but I am pretty sure the new update made it go away. Is there something I can do to re-enable it?

This is found on the left hand side.
You'll want to download the Re-enable pet Hotkeying and place it exactly where it says to place it.
Good luck, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you for the screenshot. Sadly, it does not work. I extracted it into the Mabinogi folder, like it said. I still can not drag and drop my pet's picture to the #1-9 hotkeys though. Do I need to have something previously installed for it to work? I have already downloaded the tiara mod from shaggy. Thank you for your help in advance. :)

Data Packer?
Yes, this is an important tool.
I forgot to mention that you need to use it for it to work.
Download this and then place it in C:\Nexon\Mabinogi.
If you are a Vista/Windows 7 user be sure to right click it and run as admin. (Don't run when you are on mabi.)
Click on Find, a list of modifications should appear.
Finally click on modify, it should say that it is modified.
Then simply close out of it, get on mabi, and it should work.
Again if you have any questions come back and ask.
P.S. If you ever want to remove this for whatever reasons you'll have to use data packer to remove them.
Simply open it up again and click on remove mods.
Hope this helps.  :)

he already has data packer since he has uo tiara.

just remember each time you add or change a mod open data packer and remove mods then close it.
make your changes and then open data packer and find/modify to apply the new mods.

Files section, or threads.

If a link is broken, make the request it be fixed, in it's thread. (all links broke during a server upgrade awhile back)

Where are the strings for Metalware Reforges located in the xmls? I tried looking for them and couldn't figure it out, but I was going to try and look into seeing if there were any obvious clues in the code that would help me get rid of the [][][][][][] effect on most of them by overwriting it.

Hi I stopped using the mods after the roll back...and I have started up using it again after the moonshine update. I got it up and running but I just have a few questions.

1) what happend to that note pad type file that allowed me to decide which mods to activate or whatever.
2) when I hold the alt button why dont I see peoples number things anymore?
3) The mimic thing still works but why I cant use smash on them before opening them anymore?
and last 4) Is there a different font? this one is annoying and sometimes overlaps other things and makes it hardd to read.

         -thanks

The .ini file is only for patchers, all of which are broken unless you know what you're doing.  My apologies to the folks doing tiara, but only idiots put patchers in tiara, it's a GOOD thing that it's gone now.

Use any .ttf font you want, just rename to alphanumeric.ttf and data pack it (font folder)
