Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Color channels.
« on: March 18, 2011, 12:01:23 am »
Sorry if this is the wrong section. Not sure where it should be. So I recently started working on PMG editing and everything seems to be working out fine. I just hit one snag : Color channels. I heard you can set the color channel to change to the color you like. (As in. C5 = white (Or so I have heard). Any idea on what the color black would be?

***EDIT***
Alright.. I tried to recreate the "Dark paladin" or whatever it is called. I'm not sure if I don't quite understand how to do this or what. But I feel like i'm doing this right. This is the outcome : Only the wings came out white as I wanted.. but the armor remains the same instead of coming out black.

Sorry, but i haven't really played much with the color things yet.  I'm guessing what you're talking about though, is the rules that define each color/color set and how they're supposed to be shaded in game?

If you're just looking at colors, another thing you may want to look into is the .dds files that contain your skins (went through most these for a mod i worked on) and see about just manually redoing the appearance of a specific part or skin.  Could add your own custom details, recolor, or even remove specific parts if you're any good with paint.net or a similar editing program.
