News

Nexon has updated NGS a while back, crippling all memory patchers for the time being. Unfortunately, there will not be any way to edit memory directly unless a full NGS bypass becomes available. Most data folder mods are not affected by this, but require a data folder packer to take effect in-game.

It has indeed apparently. However if you want to get rid of some lag heres a nice link.  http://halfslashed.com/tutorials/lag.html  This was made by Halfslashed, who rarely visits this site anymore.

Ah, lots of help. Thank you. Single-core processor sucks for most of the games I like.

And a bit of my own input: http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html

Makes a fair amount of difference for me, so maybe someone else will find it useful as well. It's free, though apparently they've got a paid version out now with extra bells and whistles.

This is stickied so its fine. The link in the first post. Yes it doesn't work. I don't know why, but I think the site was taken down or something. That is just my personal opinion.

I guess I'll rewrite my lengthy guide again when I have time.

Marck, if you like, I could do the guide. I've had to use quite a few lag fixes, and I think I remember how to do them.

Well, my original guide poofed when we upgraded since the post was in UTF format, and we upgraded and it reverted back to UTF-8. I'll get around to writing it...eventually.

That would be, the randomness you see there.  Looks like it makes no sense, letters, numbers, dashes.

For #3 none of the user/password combinations work for me.
Any suggestions?

Small discussion here on it... no answers though.

Some routers just simply can't have it be done.  Because you can't access anything due to a different user/pass.

Google may yield some results, to your specific router, if you really look hard enough, you may come up with the user/pass for yours.

Depends on what router you have, if they pre-set your password. The username will always be admin, or administrator.
For example, I used to be with Sky Broadband (UK). Netgear Router password was sky.

Is it a bad thing if I can't open my registry or my Task Manager? Its been like this for a little while now, i don't know if it is because of a virus or something else, but it's really pissing me off; I'm getting a friend to TV me and check it out but i don't know what to do about it.
