Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Spiral Bow.
« on: March 03, 2009, 07:40:15 am »
I'm going to get straight to the point.
I'm coming back to Mabinogi after about 8-9 months, and I don't know how to do much anymore.
So I was just requesting that someone put up a step-by-step tutorial on how to get the Spiral bow/any weapon mod to work in Mabi ;3

With MOST mods, they're already uploaded in the exact place they're supposed to be, so all you have to do is download them and use winrar to extract them directly into main mabinogi folder and they'll work.
If they aren't, however, where you put them in the data folder depends on what the mod is.  In that case, you can use the mabinogi unpacker to view the package folder to see where they're supposed to go.

Think the easiest thing to do is to Download the Adv Play Package (slap those files in your Mabi Folder).

Then Download the Spiral Bow and throw that in there too, should just fall into place (click Yes to overwrite Data Folder).

So we extract the things inside the data folder, into the mabinogi folder?

You extract them into the main folder,  they'll usually end up in the data folder if that's where they're supposed to be.

I did that and nothing happened so far.
Can you put a step by step tutorial for it?
Specifically for the Spiral bow >_>

Download Item
Open with WinRar
Extract item into the Main Mabinogi folder.
this should be the SAME folder as your client, the gameguard folder, as well as movie, mp3, and package.

You should now see a Data folder.  If the person who UPLOADED the file has put it where it is supposed to be, it should work.

HOWEVER
IF when you are Extracting the file you do NOT see a Data folder, you have to manually put it in place.
In which case you need to use the mabi UNpacker in order to figure out the sequence of folders.

The sniper rifle mod won't work with any bow but the xbow due to the stance of the player and size of the item.

I see.  well still having the sniper rifle mod would be nice.  I wouldn't mind using a Xbow over a LLB anyhows.
