Hello everyone, today should be pretty groundbreaking. For years we've been stuck with a shoddy pmg editor, but now this has changed. Instead of all the bugs and limitations we have had for the previous decade or so while we were stuck with the old and heavily outdated editor, this new program will allow advanced users to create modifications and even items in the right context for mabinogi as far as your imagination will take you without the downsides that existed before it. How ever, given the nature of this program, a few things need to be explained and they will be below.
The PMG editor from this point on will be referred to as PMGedit, and do note that this program has some specific functions that act more as an importer and exporter than an editor or 3d model adjuster. In fact the program its self does not "edit" anything, and is more a finishing step to what you otherwise must do in third party software. With this said one must have rudimentary knowledge of 3d modeling and have access to a copy of 3DS max to get full use out of the software, and this thread only serves as an exhibit to the program its self. Below are some very basic points that should be taken note of if one plans to use PMGedit.
The program does not come with all of the necessary files.
For the required DLLs, You will have to go find them on the internet. The program is not for beginners. You must have 3DS Max and knowledge of 3D Modeling. Blender may be used for raw meshes but they must be finalized in 3ds max.
List of Compatible Programs:
3DS MAX 2019 (Recommended)
3DS MAX 2015
Blender (Limted)
No support will be offered on MabiMods. Do not seek support on this site, do not give support on this site. For support you should refer to the readme.Again, this program does not run as is. You will need to obtain necessary files from the internet.
With all of that said, I am very proud to announce the first public test version of a modern PMG editor for Mabinogi!
PMGedit is available with due credits publicly and free of charge.
