Questions about Multi-clienting

I can't seem to find much information on this topic, which is why I'm making my own on this.
I just want to know if multi-clienting is safe to use at this time with things like Hyddwn launcher and Kanaan? I am concerned that if I do multi-clienting then I can be caught via my IP or something of the like.

I apologize if that seems like a vague way to voice my concern. I'm not completely unfamiliar with how this works, but I don't want to put my account at risk by going on such a small amount of information. Any help here is appreciated, and thank you so much for your time to anyone who takes the time to reply.

They don't seem to care unless you're causing a problem (like the people with 30+ alts for event farming or other exploits).

I probably already know the answer, but in that case it would be a problem to use alts for shadow mission runs I assume?

A shadow mission is a closed instance.  Not a public thing, like an event.  You should be fine.

People do notice alts piling up on the altar.
