Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Problem: PMG to MQO disappearing meshes
« on: December 04, 2016, 07:44:12 pm »
So I have been trying to get into mesh modding. One think I really want to do is create a HD head and eye pack, re-creating the eye textures at a larger size is no big deal but I am having some trouble when it comes to replacing the head mesh. I have done a ton of trouble shooting on my own, narrowed down to where the problem happens but can't figure out a solution.

The problem seems to happen right at the conversion.  I ran female_default_f00.pmg&.frm through pmg2mqo.exe then without modifying the files I ran it back through mqo2pmg.exe, packed it and launched the game.

When in the Character Creator the head mesh displays fine until you rotate the camera or zoom in, when that happens it disappears, this also happens in-game at certain angles.

I also modified the mesh in just PMG Editor, packed it and launched and it had no problems. I also loaded the MQO converted file into PMG Editor, saved it and tried that, it did not correct the problem.

If anyone has any ideas as to what might be going on, id greatly appreciate the advice. I searched the forum, and the only person who said they solved it was a guest and they never said how.

Its an issue that has been there scence that converter, honestly as far as i remember its part of the mqo file being converted to pmg so it will disapear in the game when you zoom in on it. Me and some of the older visual modders have tried to fix it but its something we just got used to over time.
