I keep getting a Cannot fine Play-Pack.exe file, and then it opens the Kanan. I cant figure out what im doing wrong..

I used the old version one. I go directly into the nexon folder in my C drive and boot it from the .exe file. So i assumed it was the old version, But i never thought of that. I could redownload and try it using the launcher. Thanks

This is still very much beta, and there's little information about what I've created so far, over the next few updates that will slowly be changing

Just run the game normally at this point, leaving the Kanan window open.

Failure to find PlayPack-Multi is a current problem I'm dealing with, however, so long as Kanan has opened in the command prompt, it will automatically detect when the game launches and instantly begin adding mods to the game for you.

More information about this problem will be added to the first post shortly.  Sorry about that!

Okay here is my update.

Playtime it seem to have done it, i installed the 64 bit link you gave me, didnt do anything just started kannan and started mabi and been online for almost 30 minute now with no issue at all!

Next ill try with tiara like how i had it earlyer see if it works too but so far with just kannan i got no problem the only thing is that there no multi.exe file.

So i will update again in a bit if it work with tiara!


Update 2 : doesnt work with tiara been online 2 min and ngs detected but kannan by itself using the 64 bit of python seem to have done it!

Yeah I have literally no idea what's wrong with the multi.exe...
In an update soon I'm going to h ave it completely removed replaced with another method that won't spit out errors like this one does.

Well like i said it doesnt work with tiara but its only a beta so its no surprise but kannan alone by itself with the 64 bit program work like a charm been online 30 min with no ngs nor any problem!

In my own honest opinion, i really like this mod, especialy the borderless window it make it so much less painfull not having to fix your screen every time you start mabi haha xD

It won't at this time.  There are conflicting files within each.  The key is to narrow them down.  Playtime is aware and will eventually be using part of Tiara to add with my blessing.  While on this subject, I don't mind (and am pretty sure Shaggy doesn't either--we spoke) others using these files.  Just ask, it's a common courtesy.  That folder open thing is something to check into.  I will later when I test.

Changes have been made, please re-read the first post for new instructions on how to use PlayPack.

Advanced install does NOT contain instructions for anything yet, that will be soon.  It does however, now contain the installation for 64-bit Python, which will be required to make use of that version of PlayPack.

The batch files have always been there, but hidden for the sake of ease of access and streamlining it.  But when making changes, I forgot to unhide certain things that are now required.  New update now uploading with that problem fixed.  Sorry about that!

Added more information and credits to Venom Log, and his work with Poison.
Credits and information to Venom and Kanan both, will be present in the installer as well, in a future update.

I also increased the font size of the credits, so it's not as hidden at the bottom.
The credits are to be seen, not hidden in a corner.


Added notes for advanced mode.

Currently working on a custom data folder that combines Tiara and Poison together. Will appear in a future update.

Credits and information for that addition will be added once finished.

As i like to play with a fov of 95, it would not let me change to 95 with Custom CE Patches (Data Gathering). Finally figured it out that i had to delete the fov script that was associated with playtime in order to change the fov manually with ce.

So are we supposed to extract directly to the Mabi folder or can it be seperate like Kanan was? Just a little confused as to what to do with that part of it 

When I go to run as Admin its telling me it cant find Kanan. Im using the classic install and its in my mabinogi folder.

The way it's setup currently (it will be changed once I've found a better method) is the batch files used to run everything, are directed exclusively to the default install locations of the nexon launcher, steam, and classic versions of the game.

Right click > Edit the batch files, to expose the code used to run it.  If your folder paths don't match what is in the batch file, simply change it so it does.


And, poison pack will require the files to be in your mabi folder, so will tiara and abyss once I've released those updates.
The kanan files however, will not.  You may need to edit the batch files for kanan.exe's location though (similar to how original kanan uses directory.txt to locate mabi, playpack uses the batch to locate both kanan and mabi), or use the advanced version and manually set it up how you like.

Better documentation will be provided with each update until full release, and out of beta.  I'm focusing on function and ease of access, before instructions and information.  Once I have it working 100% how I want, I will give a detailed how2 of every version, and how to change each mod included.

Another update!

PlayPack now includes Abyss.7z as part of the test build!
Must be manually extracted and installed just as Abyss normally would be.

This is my personal test build of PlayPack that I use for testing versions. There is NO PROMISE THIS WILL WORK as it has not even been tested by me, or has been, but is a work-in-progress and may not work in it's current state.
This is my personal test, and once I have gotten it into a working state, it is moved into one of the 4 proper versions of PlayPack.
If this test version interests you, I recommend installing it to a new folder, and not to your mabi folder, in case it doesn't work.

A massive thank you to Blade as well, for granting me permission to use Abyss for this mod pack.
Also an apology to Blade for not having him credited, I'm currently on my phone posting this, and it does NOT like opening the page for the large first post.
As soon as I'm able to get that edited, you will have a credit section, with links to your thread Sorry for the delay on adding that!




And a side note, this new test build of PlayPack will soon contain Tiara as well. But will NOT function! I am editing tiara bit by bit to make it functional with the combination of mods included.  Tiara is large, and this will take some time.  Using the test build, I am able to save my progress during editing and continue again from there when I have more time.

Once again, this test build may or may not work.  It merely reflects my progress towards updating PlayPack, as some people were interested in what I'm doing.
If you have interest in mods that are in the test build, such as abyss or tiara, I recommend uninstalling PlayPack, and installing those mods from their creator's threads, as they will likely will not function in PlayPack at this time.

In the future, they will be functional, and added to the main builds.
