This is less 'official' and more about just general advice. It is worth skimming if you regularly have problems or are generally inexperienced or finding yourself asking questions. These are not in any specific order.

As of the april 19th update, both DirectLaunch and Batch Launch methods will no longer allow you to log into the client itself. Currently, the only method i've heard of that does allow log-in, is using steam or nexon launcher. The first post has been edited to reflect the changes of this update. Most of these edits will be temporary edits into the first post. The whole launcher update is not directly NGS related, so has no real place in this thread. However, given that other methods of launch were acknowledged in the first post previously, i opted to make mention of the changes, if temporarily, into the op.

Removed the previous quote from skylar, about the NGS problem being possibly fixed by deleting security files and letting them be repaired. Replaced it with two quotes from individuals about how you can log in, trigger ngs, then log in again and ngs will not trigger, unless you multi-client and close one but not both of the clients. (actual quote is more clear than how i word it)
Tweaked the supplied form slightly, to keep it up to date. Things like power patcher and old .exe launcher are currently marked as obsolete features, they won't work, so i removed them from the form. Made mention throughout of how power patcher should not be used at this point in time.
Fixed up all references to power patcher, as it currently won't do much. Improved consistency throughout the post. Cleaned up a few typos.

Abyss doesn't use injector atm, removed that comment. Kanan, while still somewhat new, think it's around long enough i can quit saying it's new. I don't think kanan can run abyss through its dll though, so removed that entry.
Overall organizing of the post. Added playpack and frontend to the form, requesting you specify which of the following mods you use. Created two spoilers with quick lists of what is currently confirmed working or not, see the paragraph above said spoilers, for further details.

Abyss/crackshield entry edited/removed. The method to use abyss has changed, overall usage of abyss is the same though. This may lead to difficulties for some, in using abyss. However, it currently does not seem to be detected, as long as you are setting up other mods right.
Edited the Disclaimer. Slight rewording, more emphasis on respecting/appreciating others even if you don't recognize them.

I had previously listed that data folder could trip NGS, just by being present even when not being read. data folder being present, but not read, will not result in a kick, this has been removed from the original post.
This was a screw up on my part, as i'd heard several people report that they didn't have this issue i tested again by replacing my data folder without being kicked. So i guess i originally did something stupid.

Added that some files/folders are being picked up by NGS just by being in mabi directory, even when not actively used.

Added that Nova is reported working.
Changed abyss entry, it is currently not recommended to be used as even with no data folder it still trips most users' NGS.
Added mention of launchers possibly tripping NGS once you get in game, but they work for patching.
Removed entries on stopping NGS and Blackcipher process.
Added Cheat Engine to the list of detected modding tools.

If you're going to use tiara, you do need to compress your mods into a pack file, not read the data folder. Edited this into the entry about not using the standard datapacker. I also edited the abyss entry, it now says that it is recommended to turn your read data folder entry to 0, rather than you may need to, and that i suggest you use custom .pack files over data folder atm.

Edited the entries for NGS and BlackCipher. As we're getting more reports that closing them is causing players to be booted, i wouldn't advise it, as a last resort you may attempt such though.

Some data folder mods may be detected, it's advised to disable Abyss's DataFolder=0 patch if your getting detected and to pack your mods into the package folder using MabiPacker.

Closing NGS or BlackCipher may have an adverse effect, edited into first post at the end of their entries. More feedback on these are welcome from various individuals of course.
