First time i've cleared it, hell of a lot of effort. It's my proud moment on mabi for the week. And my shame is going through nearly 20 revival stones for one run.
For those wondering/wanting tips. Lullaby and Rain Casting are utterly useless and won't affect anything, so don't bother. Frozen blast and shadow bind also do not seem to work. Hydra does damage, but it's so low you won't really want it. Sitting a puppet outside the door does not work, the mobs don't seem to aggro things outside the room, not fully tested this but did do it a time or two to see if it'd work.
There are a lot of wraiths, essentially purple ghosts. They get standard ghost moves as well as a roar to both desummon your pets and debuff you to prevent more summons. The roar causes stun for like 1 second or so, and
will kill you if in deadly. The wraiths don't normally spam it, but rather do it when you approach a set distance to them for the first time, and seem to do it periodically after some time has passed. They seem more prone to roar if you go deadly though.
Lightning rod still does a nice chunk of damage to some of the mobs, cc+4 fire wand is very useful for those willing to use it. I do not advise using weak aoe with the exception of hydra. Rather, i strongly recommend a high ranked sand burst. At its best, with no reforges, you can hit a mob with it while using earth type cylinder and rebis, and by time blind wears off you'll be able to hit the same mob again with blind. Now, i point this out, because once you hit the second floor it will be a godsend. If you wanna know why, you can do a bit of digging on the dungeon, i won't ruin it for those like me who like to experience it first hand.
Sand burst does
not affect the final boss. However boss will summon lesser mobs as soon as one of the mobs dies, to replace the lost one, and sand burst will be wonderful support for keeping them locked down while your team hammers away at the boss.
I see mana shield used a lot, personally i don't bother with it anymore as whatever's going to hit me that warrants using it, will strip the shield in one hit. Life drain is decent. Shield of trust with recovering touch subskill to heal wounds is great. Always be aware of your party's health, otherwise you'll be quickly ganked. Until you've had enough practice that you
know you can handle it, i strongly advise party feathers and revival stones of some sort.
