Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Pretty disappointing honestly, for a professional role.

Her job should be receiving and sending information back and forth between the players and her higher-ups. For the most part, it just seems like she's only handling social media, as opposed to to listening to player concerns. Her statement on the video pretty much represents her mindset on the matter.

I quite love how MapleStory's community manager handle things in comparison.

For starters, he is very active on their subreddit (/r/maplestory), and he constantly listens to player concerns on a daily basis.

What really got me to notice him  is that, there was a certain update that was going to include some pay-to-win items, due to his quick communicating to the community he managed to pull back the patch and prevented a lot of unnecessary drama because of that.

Alas, change won't happen. The community is pretty happy with Sabina, they love her, and to be honest, if things are going well, you shouldn't fix what's not broken, amirite? :3

Depends on who you talk to.  You don't badmouth a forum manager in their own forums, so people who speak ill of her won't post much in the forums saying so.

Of the 4 current chat groups i'm in with mabi related people, i know that those who are willing to speak in 3 of them don't care for sabina, the 4th one i haven't been in long enough for that convo to pop up, and i'm not just gonna be like 'what you all think of sabina?' for no real reason.  Same for most the people i talk to in game about her.  People liked her at the start, but most everyone i deal with now, who says anything about her, doesn't care for her, myself included.

Respect is all about projection. I say "the community loves her", but mostly it's just the picture of it that's being projected.

There's not enough reason to dislike her actions nor enough actions to commend her, that's why the tides will not bring change.

While I don't like her either, she's not doing enough harm to bring a downfall to be it the community or the game overall, she is loyal and does her job. However I would like to think, it is quite a shame she can't play with the other side of that curve, great talents only shine because they push beyond, and they get admired for that.

Well that may be true for most of the community, but i have my own personal reasons to dislike her.  I've also heard a friend tell about how she's basically given free NX items to people in mabi she likes, on alexina server.  So there's that too.

Personally, i also view sabina as one of the fashionogi players.  I quickly lose all interest in players who aren't interested in playing the game, and simply want to show off.  Don't matter to me if it's NX items, pure fashion, or simply standing around talking.  I wouldn't say i hate them all, but i won't stand around very long to socialize with them, and they're less likely to run dungeons and stuff with me.  I wouldn't classify it as hate, as generally i'll just disregard the majority of them so long as they don't offend me, but it also doesn't mean i like them or would be happy with people i play with who move to that style of the game.

That right there is disgusting, I must agree with you on that. That's exactly what I went on to talk about in my first post of this thread, she doesn't represent what a community manager should be. It's all in the "social branch" for her, as if she fails to grasp the basic concept of the game.

The fact that you can't relate to her is more important than you think, it shows right there that she can't represent the average player, and with that she can't forward in and out the player's voice. She fits into a niche group of the game, she appeals them, and  they appeal her, and that helps the game running (cough WINGS cough), but not the way it should.

It's truly a shame because it just might come back and harm the game more than it does right now one day, but alas, it all goes down to the lady of luck in the end.
