Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Could be because of the indicator above characters that states who gotten the key. It always appear above characters who picks up the keys.

Looked into this a little more. Was able to replace the human AI/race entry with the doll pickup stuff. It works, except the server won't allow the item to actually be picked up, presumably because I have no master, and thus the server can't figure out where it goes.

However, this means that, in all likelihood, ANY summon can be enslaved to pick things up.

Yeah, but the summon won't actually pick up the item :c

This is some pretty interesting stuff, I'll probably be both using this and testing to see what other things I can get to slave-tier  ::)

Apparently they can't pick up anything that's not tradable.

At least, not without a client edit... I'm somewhat tempted to mod all the Attr_ActionFlags to 1 in the itemdb, see if that helps.

I was assuming it's just because the server wouldn't let the item be picked up by what's technically a different character.

I believe the doll doesn't even try to pick the items up. I don't recall seeing pickup packets flow between client and server for things like keys, so it's most likely client side.

Well, they run to the non tradable items, so I'm sure they're trying.

I tried the actionflag thing. no change.

Ah, yeah, if they run to it, the server's denying them.

They don't run to keys though...

Do Samoyed and miniature pinsher pick up keys?

I haven't gone into a dungeon with this yet, but my Len doll seems to be going for every item after I made extra data empty like it is for the dogs and monkey that pick up items.

Am I the only one who's miku doll just breaks when the fast pickup AI is used? She just stands there; doesn't run around, doesn't run to items, and doesn't even follow me or teleport when I'm on the other side of the map.

I don't believe the dogs pick up keys.

The fast AI will overload the engine or something and the dolls will freeze. I added a delay of about 1second and it drastically helped, without killing speed too much.

Any chance we could get dolls to pick up these marbles the new event will make mobs drop?

If they work like normal items, the dolls should have no issues.

The dolls will pick them up so long as they're tradeable.

So itemID for the new Cat Copper Marble is 91666, and I tried using it for pickableItems but doesn't seem to work.  Anybody got this to work/know why it doesn't work?

They do pick SOME of them up, just not 100% of the time. It's like 60% of the time and sometimes it moves to the marble but the proceeds to ignore it. Is this still strictly because they are untradeable items?

I've only seen dolls ignore items that dropped for other players. Are you sure they're ignoring your items only some percent of the time?

Can confirm that it does pick up marbles, but only some of the time.

It does not go after:
-Marbles that are dropped by you or others.
-About 50%+ of marbles dropped by enemies (cannot figure out why, maybe after a certain amount of time they cannot be picked?).

It's the first item I've come across that makes doll bags behave so weirdly and inconsistently. I would love if someone found a way to make it go after every marble since this event has very nice rewards.

Yes sir, happening to both a friend and myself. Was getting the drops in a shadow mission solo so it's not marbles from some other player or anything like that in the area (if that's what you were driving at)

Do the packets being sent look the same every time a doll bag tries to pick up an item? maybe there are two different versions of the pickup function they use.

I haven't checked, but the packet is so simple that I see no reason it'd have any variations.

If you use the fast pickup mod, remove it. Also remove the pickup of other items, and even other mods if you're so inclined. We'd like to establish if this behavior is due to something internal in the client or an unexpected conflict.

Also, don't forget to update your XML files to 205's.

Is there a way to make them ignore even gold and just pick the Copper Marbles?
