News

Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Is there a way to figure out which .dds files belong to which location (like old Uladh, Taill, Avon, Iria, etc)?

It's not an exact science, but as far as /data/material/ goes, most of the files are named to correspond where they are.

I believe if you check /data/world/ a lot of areas have corresponding .xml files that list exactly which /material/ files they use.

Area files have that information, but you need to use "\data\db\tileindex.data" to understand what the numbers mean.

Unless I made a mistake, it should already be updated. I added in the newer skill icons before they were released.

Yeah, there is. I was actually scrapping the whole thing and waiting on r200 to start anew on it. I also just finished updating all the icons, I'll put them in the original post.

Choco i seem to be having a problem with your WaterHD mod when i use this mod found in https://mabimods.net/index.php?topic=16620.0 every time i pack that mod it seems to force that mod out of R/o mode and it wont stay with my other mods for the time being i've reverted to the data folder mod until you can address the issue the problem seems to be a specific file in that mod that's causing the problem. Second issue i'm facing with the steam copy is the skill icon mod is also breaking for me (Using Steam version)

The mod you linked overwrites some of the same files that WaterHD does (skill effects), I don't know anything about the being forced out of R/o mode though.

As for the skill icons, it looks like I only updated the .pack version, my bad. I'll fix that right away, sorry about that.

Also, I should have another update to some of the other parts soon, I've been tearing through the textures but it still takes me about 10-30 seconds per and there are literally thousands. I'm getting there though, bear with me.

OK that's good to know, I guess I'll just use the data folder ones cause I'm not having any problems with those. separate question are the skill icons updated for r204?

I just updated them to r232. Now they include the Fate/Stay skills and Divine Link.

Edit: I only updated the .pack version, since data folder methods are becoming less viable.

If by maintained you mean usable, yes it is. However if you mean regularly worked on, no it hasn't been updated since r232. Reason for this these files haven't really changed since then.
