You don't need spyware. There's a slew of ways pake can be detected. Also, I did say if I catch wind of someone using it I'll blacklist them from Abyss indefinitely, so it's not like I said "Hey, Abyss is now tracking your every move, don't go on any websites you shouldn't" or anything.

Well thats a good thing your friends report,but there alot of ways to be anonymous online with all this private vpn services you can use and people on nexon using dummy accounts,they dont care if it gets ban,they just keep coming back,you can slow it down but you cant stop it. I even us vpn myself cause i download musice off utorrents and i think its sucky that peoples ISP monitors them.

Afaik, he blacklists your account (character?), not IP, or anything that's dynamic.

No, that's not what it means. I don't store any information that can be a security risk. I don't even store account names.

Even if he wanted to, he couldn't store your actual password because they are hashed+salted. He wouldn't be able to do anything with a hash/salted password, unless he was seriously desperate and attempted bruteforcing it.

Not saying that Blade does store your password. Just hypothetically, if he did.

I haven't checked if VM's have a different HWiD (which they probably do), but yeah reinstallation of Windows will change it, along with an automated Windows function of changing your HWiD after several weeks. HWiD isn't bound to your computer, but I'm guessing Nexon just does a check anyways to minimise the search for banhammering purposes. IP masking by itself won't stop you from getting banned, that's for sure, it used to work a long time ago though. I hate to say that Nexon actually upgraded their logging system (albeit a few years too late)
