^This, is a legit issue. I'll pass this on, but I'm pretty sure that he's likely aware of this already.
^This is not--rather, this isn't a mod at all, it was added by Nexon when they did the update to the client and files.
With all due respect... Please make sure that you're aware of what exactly it is that you're using, you save yourself a lot of trouble. It wouldn't hurt anyone to crack open that ini, or readme every now and then and use conscious awareness when installing. Then again, if people are up for a challenge... by all means.
Sorry bout that, when I mentioned "the feature that was added", I meant the feature that Nexon has added. I'm no coder, but I do try to keep a reasonable understanding of what I'm using, and I've made a few contributions in the past.
Just don't want to come across as an ignorant leech.
Shadow crystals also caused the previously discussed crashing on hover/pickup. As suggested by someone else, I disabled the Show True Durability Patch. Afterwards, I would still crash attempting to hover or pick up revival balloons.
After disabling Show Item Color and Show NPC Value, the problem of crashing with balloons and also shadow crystals no longer occurs, perhaps this suggests those two abyss features are at fault.
Additionally, when the effect of Special High Speed Gathering Potion (Event) expires, the client crashes, but I have not tested whether this still occurs with the above two modifications disabled.
I've noticed that after the latest patch, the dialogue after the Macha battle in Iria Saga 10 causes any ingame prompt or window to stop registering input. For example, open the Quest Window, but the cursor does not change to a finger when you hover it on something clickable. It become impossible to click on any buttons on the interface, though using skills and targetting enemies and NPCs on screen is still possible. But the client must be force closed through Task Manager, since it is impossible to type /end and the dialogue for End Game requires you to click an "OK" button. This seems to be easily reproducible. I haven't noticed this occurring with any other NPC dialogue, only the two conversations after the Macha battle.
Unfortunately I'm leaving town and won't have time to investigate the dialogue issue any further.
