Use Logue's Mabipacker and make a custom *.pack file.
set it to the current correct version (245), and set the compression level to "1 - fast".
drop it in packages, and set it to read-only.

so this is the font I want to turn into .pack file...

when I select directory to   C:\Nexon\Library\mabinogi\appdata\package

and set save .pack file name to C:\Nexon\Mabinogi - Backup\Package\custom-245.pack

My master guide to modding should cover this! its a sticky thread on the client mod board. I'm on my phone, which hates this site, so no link sorry

Actually, I think he needs to Right-Click the dll it says, click Properties, and click Unblock. Something that should be added.

I'm uploading my MabiPacker, I noticed it's a different version.
Yours is newer, but mine works.

(also just for convenience you can edit the "MabiPacker.exe.config" file, and change the default directories and version)

(I like combining the default language.pack with my data folder and using the name language.pack, just so i don't have any extra .pack's laying around, but that's just a personal preference..)

Few may use this font as though it may look nice, it's also rather large.
2.16mb to be exact.
To each their own though.  I'm going to look into it, however.

Did you change the filename to alphanumeric.ttf before you packed it?

Also, interestingly enough, data/gfx/font already HAS a NanumGothicBold.ttf file in it.

So I've been constantly getting this one error, that I can't get rid of no matter what I tried.

Which includes: restarting, deleting and extracting new dll in, extracting replacing with new dll, prextract and move in dll, preextract and replace dll, redownloading and repeating the previous a million times, reinstalling Mabi, switch between Nexon and Steam. Oh hell, I've even reinstalled OS, a fresh install too. Oh and not knowing if it helps I also tried loading default.reg. I've tried disabling Firewall. I don't have any antivirus either. Disabled the one that came with Win 10. I've also tried running Mabi as admin. Oh right, I've tried launching differently as well. Kanan, Client.exe, Mabinogi.exe, Nexon Launcher, Steam. I double triple quadruple checked neither Steam or Nexon or Mabinogi have been running while I do this...

Been getting this ever since my old comp broke and I started borrowing my parents'. Which, is essencially the same comp, just a newer ver. Mine was late 2013 13" MBPr, used both Boot Camp and Parallels Win 10 to play and the most I ever had to do to fix that error is download new zip and extract directly replacing the file in Mabi folder. Current comp I'm on is 2015 of the same MBP, a lower spec one tho with only 8gb RAM, also Windows 10 on Boot Camp.

A friend of mine got this error as well a lil while ago, but was easily fixed doing the same thing as I had, which was extracting directly to Mabi folder.

It's usually updated within a couple of hours. It depends on what I'm doing that day and how much broke. If it's just NGS, I can have it updated and uploaded in about a minute. If I'm adding features then it may take longer.

The patch log should have told you it was missing. The reason it's needed is because when the Client tries to call a native function of ijl, such as ijlWrite, it will do so by trying to call the function in Abyss. The dat is loaded by Abyss so I can pass on the call to that function to the original (dat) instead of having to re-code the functions.

Also, please refrain from double posting and the above applies to your problem as well.

It's been a while since we've made a mod update. Although both of us have busy lives making new features and ideas are a bit hard to come up with (with a patcher that's been alive for 5 years, what do you expect?) There are definitely more to more to be coming soon as time progresses.

WS2MintUnQueue (Windows Socket 2 Mint Unqueuer) is a special mod that I've found months ago. I was skeptical on how powerful this mod might be for the community. What this mod does is removes your limitation of outgoing actions to the server, thus allowing you to have a bit more control of your character beyond the limitation of networking latency, for this mod to work effectively you must be close to the server's location. For Mabinogi North America the servers are located in California. So if you live in that state you get the most beneficial effect for this modification. After much consideration regarding on should this modification be public we've decided that it is within safe bounds to release it. As always,  be cautious

Yeah I don't think this should be cancerous to the game at all, except for maybe ears.

Aside, is there any hope of Sharker being updated any time soon? Or are we just using Kanan for those types of patches now.
Just don't release any of those game-breaking things that we all know still exist, even to friends. I want this game to die slowly and peacefully (only because i know it will die, not that i want it to)
