Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Yeah, it's a false positive, which I have already said in the readme and the FAQ in the first post.

It was just the first time it had gotten flagged while being extracted. I've never had any of my antiviruses flag an abyss install except for when we were using the (semi-manual)injectors.

This is also easily solved by diffing the file, and/or checking the date on the new ini vs your older one.  I do this rather regularly to be sure.  ;)  They do mention it, however.

Makes me wonder why they're so darn insistent on stopping a mod that doesn't even give any major gamebreaking advantages, I mean the worst thing I can think of is infinite dye timer, but dyelite is way worse in that field.

They really need to apply optimizations to the game before they continue their crusade on abyss, abyss fixes whatever issues i have with framerate and stuttering.

They likely keep doing this with abyss cuz they have an easy patch method for abyss.  Ie, next to no work.  I keep saying that i personally believe they're trying to meet a quote or impress someone, the NA branch, is why they still do this.  This game of NGS and abyss has gone on long enough, they know that what they're doing is ineffective, so their end goal is clearly not just to interfere with modders, as they'd have taken numerous other steps as well as changing their methods.

Hey Guys, I've read about the updates on Abyss, it seems it works for a lot of people now which means I suppose I could try Abyss once more. :)
However, I'm a little confused on how it now works. I downloaded the new and updated Abyss, I read the FAQ that it doesn't require some of the previous files anymore. Such as that AbyssInjector is no more there as well. Yet I still see some talk about injecting the file just in time to work.
I'm sorry if I misread something! Do we still need to require injecting a file via the AbyssInjector or PerX?

It requires no injection at all. Just drag and drop the files into your Mabinogi folder.

Has anyone gotten any detections after yesterday's update? I had a previous version that was the latest when I had it and I was also getting detections so I had to uninstall it.

I need to multi-client, because I need to do crap on two characters at the same time, so I wanted to know if it's just going to be detected again.

(Someone should probably look into making a new CrackShield that works for NGS instead. But not me, because I'm too stupid.)

That would be ideal, but no easy task by any means. Abyss does get detected a lot lately though, so it does need frequent updates. The latest version right now doesn't need to be updated though. If all you need is multiclient though, you could always use that part of Poison Pack.

The game crashes whenever I put on a ghost balloon, even when I was out shopping and people were selling their balloons I crashed. I uninstalled and the game would work fine but I still flinch when my mouse hovers over it >.<

UPDATE: It seems to be working fine for me now, however, a small update is recommended due to the maintenance making minor changes.

Abyss doesn't have a data folder, which means no itemdb.

If you rule out a data folder, try turning off any item mods, such as True Durability and Item Color.

You must have another mod in use then.  Tiara I would assume? Delete the race, prop, and item files from data/db.

Or, update your other mods.
