Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

I've been meaning to update that, since that thread my sig linked to was... kinda old. Thanks for the reminder. Chiyo's Dad now brings people to the right place. :3

And now that I've mentioned it publicly on the Abyss thread... I guess I should update the Abyss sections next... Heh.

Woo hoo \ o /

ArrowTrails - In the normal version of the game. If you shot an arrow as an elf. It would show a Trailing effect. This mod enables it for all races.

Does it actually do anything by posting a reply saying that NGS is caught up? I don't want to clutter the thread any further. Can we just assume Blade has eyes and can see when NGS gets updated?

Yes, it annoys everybody.

Post it in the NGS thread, that we made exactly for that reason.  That way we don't have to go all over the forum to find information on when things break.

Seem to be running into a strange bug on 237.1 where after visiting shops in Belvast, I'm still getting "shop notifications" ("Seller has listed a new item", "The item has been sold", ...) even after I leave the shop. Seems to be for every shop I visit. The effects expire when I leave the continent (at least via CW).

Here's abyss.ini:

Might be a bug with FastCaption? Seems like the only thing. I'll clean up the project and recompile the whole thing every time from now on. I've had problems before from not doing so, though not sure if that's what this is.

A bug might have been involved, but I've been unable to reproduce the issue after closing the previous instances.
It's worth noting that MultiClient was also active at the time, yet I can't seem to get the issue to recur, so for now we can chalk it up to a bad game instance unless there are more people that me seeing this happen.

I may be a bit late to the party, but yeah as playtime said post in the NGS thread.  As for the point and value; the point is to draw attention to the issue faster.  Not everyone on this site actually plays actively, and even those that do can be distracted by rl or just other online stuff.  Value of it, i can't honestly say as it's entirely possible that someone has already informed blade behind the scenes, or he may just coincidentally catch a post on this site immediately after the post is made, addressing the fact that NGS updated.

Whether you want to spend time reporting or not is entirely up to you, but i will say if you make a report and neglect to say anything other than 'abyss is detected again,' people will probably ask if you're running other mods and whatnot as well.

AVG detects a virus in the version downloaded from http://blade3575.com/Abyss/
Calls it Vundo and I am guessing its a false positive?

My apologies, I was under the impression this was the place to post relevant information about Abyss so that the person who works on it can deal with whatever problems arise.

It's called a false positive.  That solution to your problem is in fact, to turn it off, or add an exception for Abyss.

Anyone else crashing when entering the Dressing Room? I'm not entirely sure what's causing it.
It happens on Abyss and Poison Pack, however turning off Anti-Glare fixes the wardrobe section but the character section (where you change faces and stuff) still crashes. Deleting Poison Pack doesn't fix it either so it could be an Abyss problem. I don't know what to turn off in Abyss to fix it.

Edit: Nevermind. Reinstalling Mabi seems to have fixed it.
