3.I started HsLauncher(crackshield) up
4.Opened Mabinogi launcher and started the game
5. Game looked like it was loading and before I got to the login screen my computer screen went black and mabinogi shut down on me

Thats the thing im not getting an error code at all. Mabinogi starts to load then just crashes no error code at all

Does Abyss_patchlog.txt say anything other than patching being success?

Nothing is said other then when I launch crackshield but thats just saying its up. I have teamviewer if you want to see the problem for yourself.

The only reason I know of that would cause an immediate crash and no errors is if you're on the blacklist, but that's reported in the patchlog so I'm not sure.

Iam running off windows xp platform idk if that would be a cause of the problem or not. Again I do have teamviewer if you would like to see just in case I did miss something

that could very well be the problem. Abyss only works on 64 bit computers just so you know, so that might be a big problem. do you know the bit of your computer?

It's supposed to be working for x64 and x32, that change happened ever since Lays let me use his CrackShield.

oh well thats news to me. it wont work on my two x32 computers, but it works on my newest x64. i only really use my x64 these days so it hasn't been a problem for me

Don't forget to remove the two bugtrap dlls to prevent future issues. This is for all users of mods.

What are those two files for? I have them in my Mabinogi folder and still use Abyss without trouble, other than hackshield error message popping up 99% of the time, but I just ignore that and the game plays fine anyways. Just curious about them.

its the beta for a new "hackshield". Simply put, those search for mods and will auto crash the client if any are found.

Thanks for heads up. As of yet, i have had no problems from them i do not think. Just standard nexon crap.

Your lack of research is really astounding. Stop making assumptions. All it does it catch errors and make better bug reports for the Dev's to fix their bugs.

They're not used from there so removing them doesn't matter. They're built directly into the client.

Everytime I started mabi the "Mabinogi has experiened and issue" would pop-up in the background, and every once and a while if I changed channels it would crash. Just removed those .dll's from the folder, and that message is gone. Have changed channels probably 20 times and no problems.

Plonecakes has proven his/her intelligence in the matter and has looked into BugTrap, at least slightly, from what I was told; might have been more. I'm sure people will be believing Plonecakes over you in this matter, I know I will.

It would probably behove you to check the admin prompt when you start the game.
