Blade the Controllable Text Cursor works beautifully now. Very nice work. Although, I'm noticing that the mod doesn't affect PMs for some reason. Still nice work; like someone said before, it's a bit sad that we have to mod to be able to use basic functions like this lol.

Up/down don't seem to do anything? ^^;
Left/right work, but only in the main chat box. It doesn't function in IMs, Message Log window, notes, etc. Still very useful, though!

Hey guys. I was wondering how you fix this glitch from abyss. Apparently, my skill hotkeys wont save from its own original spot anymore and I can't find a solution on fixing it. For example, If I set smash on "1", log off, and log back in, my skill stats will automatically not save where it used to be. This has been going on for a couple years now and only to my main character. On other characters, the skill hotkeys save. So  the main question is how do I fix this? I filed a ticket and they didn't really solve the solution, but they classified it as "solved." Because of this, I have stopped using abyss permanently and just ran mabi clean. And yes, I have already tried to deactivating the Save/Loada UI.

Does it also not save if you change channels? If you can change channels and keep the hotkeys as you set them, try logging off after CCing. I used to have a similar issue and it worked for me somehow. It may have been some arbitrary glitch though :d.

Just a quick note, the game itself doesn't save hotkeys on CCing anymore. Need to do a proper logout or full exit to save them.

Guess what time it is? That is if you want to have this fixed.  What we need is screen shots of your package folder towards the bottom, your BlackCypher folder, your NexonGuard folder, all of your dlls, and while you're at it throw in your data folder too if you have one.  Also, please attach relevant info by grabbing the form in the NGS Issues thread and paste that here with the relevant info.  If you do all that, then we can see what we can do to resolve this.

It saves when I CC lol. When I properly log off, it only saves the hotkeys once then resets when I turn off my computer. Idk if it's possible to fix this lol. Been ticketing Nexon about it but always tell me they resolved it.

That shouldn't really have anything to do with Abyss. I don't remember hotkeys saving when you CC so none of it should actually be changing at that point.

No idea. Have you tried reinstalling? I hate to say that since it's such a hassle but I've never really heard of a problem where CC'ing has any effect on your hotkeys, never mind setting them back to how they were.

Yea I've tried reinstalling lol. Doesn't seem to save my hotkeys still. Already tested this with my new-built PC as well. Doesn't save the hotkey for some reason.

You could refer to my post above  , and mind you this isn't to be a smart Aleck, I'm just being blunt.  It's the truth.  Currently there are unnecessary assumptions being made when trying to draw conclusions as to what the cause(s) are.  The simplest answer, isn't always correct.  That being said, I'd made the suggestion above to provide information via screen shots and relevant info in order to better assist.  You've tried another PC in order to eliminate what is viewed as the impossible, yet what remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.  You can continue down the route you're going--keep doing the same things, and likely get the same results.  It's time to try what you haven't tried.  Anything less, is just insanity.   Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

On the off-chance this is actually the solution, @ChungIsHere make sure to check your hosts files.  There was a thing to save hotkeys locally, involved adding a line to your hosts file.  If you ended up doing this, leaving the entry in your hosts file, it would likely screw up changes to your hotkeys in the future.  Since your hotkeys save when you cc though, i don't think this is the issue.

Alternatively, you may wish to search for the local hotkey save, to see if that will resolve your issues.  Though, you'd have to redo all of your hotkeys once in order to use it.  And i'd suggest cc'ing or logging out once you set them, to force a save.

Happens only on main character and same on all computers.  This is definitely not the problem.

Thanks for this, I wasn't aware NGS had gotten Abyss again.

October 6, 2016: Updated Abyss to avoid detection. Fixes and enhancements to ControlTextCursor. (Try using the up and down arrows after talking. Seriously this time!) Added CaptionDisable, DisableSkillBalloonOnClick and FastCaption thanks to Step29.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed yet, but skipping cutscenes breaks Saga mission. The cursor changes to an icon that says you can't click and you have to forcibly exit the game.

previous version  of abyss was working fine for me but the new version is crashing upon login now like a different previous version also my computer appearantly doesn't support DEP(probably cause I'm on a pre socket 775 pentium 4) checked the settings to turn it off and it was greyed out :/

On another note infinite party time isn't being banned anymore I've been using it for months now -content removed-
