Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

I tried to fix it through nexon launcher, ended same effect, re-downloaded whole mabi, packed the new abyss and still effect is the same...

This was resolved.

A quick note to others on this.  Normally a well written program would pull the libraries needed as far as VS with no issue.  This is Nexon we're talking about though. ^^  For others out there you'll want to always check that you have both versions of VS for example 2008 or 2010 (x86 and 64bit).  The reason for this is to make sure you're covered.  I'll save the long explanation why.

DEP normally trips for some even before they run Mabi clean or not at all.  To be thorough you can just add any exes for the Mabi folder to ensure everything works as intended.  What was odd in this case is in clean mode it ran fine, but if you added in Abyss DEP tripped.  Everyone please make a note of that to save yourselves pain later.

Other notes:
Make sure your security related files are good, because if they're not you'll probably get NGS errors with even a clean client.  If you have NGS errors on a clean client, you're probably going to have more of the same with Abyss.
Make sure your packs are updated and roughly the same time frame as far as date (the time might be a lil different). 

That about sums it up.

Out of curiosity, I've never crashed with previous version with dura and color mod enabled. Was certain items crashing players?

See here, a few posts up.  Also before any of that make sure you have the latest Abyss. ^^

You may need to add the files mentioned there to DEP. 

The main thing whenever anyone has problems is... read, read, and read... followed by a lot of experimentation sometimes.  Best of luck.  :)

So, just bumped into another weird issue, which flicking off the new elflagfix and showitemcolor fixed, so I'm going to get down to testing the two of them a little later as I can't right now.

When I went to make a check, using the slider bar worked fine with setting custom amounts, however typing in an amount manually would leave the fee as "500", additionally if I then hit enter after typing the amount in, "3650000" in this case, hitting enter would cause it to revert to 10k, showing a 500 gold fee. Didn't try hitting ok, but based on that I assume it would have made a 100k check, as it didnt seem to be registering typed input into the box what so ever.

Possibly related, though I didn't think anything of it until now, I noticed sometimes when I log in my stamina is listed as -2147483647, as in the 32bit digit cap, so that may well be related. I'll get round to testing the two a little bit later and see what happens.

As before, running only Abyss, on the latest version. No data folder to speak of, and poison pack not currently installed.


Edit: Found time to test it sooner than I expected. So when the problem first appeared I tried simply CCing, relogging and then eventually restarting the client and none of this fixed it, had to disable those 2 variable and then it fixed. Interestingly, now that I've reactivated them both, the checking is working again and my stamina is loading in at its correct value. So for now, its a ghost, I'll keep an eye on it and see if it flares up again. Not sure why especially that stamina glitch would persist over a restart and yet fix itself after disabling and reenabling a feature in the mod, as its not like its interfering with character data or anything. Well, I'll let you know if I manage to trigger it again, for now gonna assume it was a one off fluke. I guess this is the modding equivalent of turning it off and one again, atleast for now.

Hoo, Boy. I am excited about this update.

Recently, Some no-named person challenged us to add some new functionality for Abyss given that the patcher "has not had anything unique within the past year".
Therefore, with the help of the Pateron system. I've decided to take a step forward into improving abyss, reviving some of my old modifications, and coming up with some new ideas.

In this update, I've included 3 modifications for Abyss


AttackPropWhileMounted - For some pets, you can attack prop items such as trees or dungeon orbs. With the modification enabled. Every single pet will be able to attack props (This means you can attack those dungeon orbs with your Nimbus now, yay~!)
MaxDivide - When you open up the Dividing Item window. Normally the minimum division would be 1 by default. With this modification it has been replaced with the Max division, this is very useful when you want to take gold out from the gold bags.
RemoveItemDropAni - Self- Explanatory. It just seems to be a bit faster than the normal data edit. Personally requested by Blade.

And this is just the start of it.
I don't have a playable account yet for this game (pls donate~), I believe someday I will. But when I do, I'll start to come up with even more ideas to implement for Abyss. So I would like to thank you to everyone that is using our patron for Abyss, it's really helpful for both of us.

Many thanks for the NGS update, and some nice new features too :) That pet mounted prop hitting will be particularly nice, though seems like another one you might have to be careful who you use it around XD

To be specific, you extract the files and put them in your Mabinogi folder where Client.exe and Mabinogi.exe are located. If your file extensions are hidden, they will appear as Client and Mabinogi, respectively.
