Nexon has recently updated Mabinogi to a 64 bit client. This update has broken many mods in memory patchers for the time being. The mod creators are working hard to essentially rebuild all mods from scratch, and this process will take some time. Please be patient, and stay tuned for more updates.

Ok so my problem is that i can't turn on mabi whenever i have abyss on. As soon as i try to turn it off it immidiatley crashes (see the screen shot ) showing this message "Mabinogi program stopped working". What did i tried... Re-applying mods, all in instructions, adding folder to exception for antivirus but nothing works out so far.
Ideas?

Let's start with taking your data folder out of the equation for starters if you have one.
There are 2 ways to go about this:
1. You can rename your data folder, or relocate it elsewhere for backup purposes, but out of the Mabinogi directory.
2.  You can set DataFolder=1 if it's that to DataFolder=0 in the Abyss.ini.

You can perform both of the steps above, or either with the same effect.  There would be a good starting point.  I noticed many do not mention if they're using a data folder.  If you're not using one, then we'll need contents screen caps of your folders much the same as I mentioned in a prior post  (the one you have screenied there).  :)

I'm not sure if anyone else is getting this particular issue but, with the latest abyss being used I've been running flawlessly. no ngs, no exceptions in the patch log, I was having the issue already mentioned before with true dura but that's also been resolved. I only use abyss, just straight into the mabi folder, windows 8.1 and I'm crashing for a new semi funny reason it seems. Removing abyss stops these crashes.

When I use certain chairs I seem to crash on demand. I've confirmed it doesn't seem to happen with the rocking horse, but I've crashed using my pool, lonely kotatsu, and simply picking up my piano out of pet inventory to use seems to crash me. Not really sure why, but yeah, no piano barding atm.

Any patcher is very dependent on the files for Mabinogi being just so, current and updated.  We can go the long route on that, but let's rule something else out first.  If you didn't have crashes before on the prior version, then I'd start with this in the Abyss.ini:
;Fixes elf lag by removing the animation of move while aiming.
ElfLagFix=1

Please set that to 0 and let us know how that works out.  That feature is the only change aside from the usual updating.

Also, if you could attach your Abyss_patchlog.txt  that'd be great.   8) We can see then if anything is up--any "fails" for example.

Yes, it is.  Please try this.

Add all mentioned there to DEP.  MabiDirectLaunch is in essence just a launcher, and it accesses/links to those other files.

I set to 0 and tried some of the chairs I crashed in. oddly enough pool seemed fine, but I crashed with lonely kotatsu again. Confirmed lifting my piano also crashed me with abyss running. I removed mods prior to these screenies to make sure I wasn't insane before, but yeah. I attached the logs for running with the elflag set to 1 and 0 for verification. Either setting still causes the crash with my kotatsu and piano. Yeeee, no clue, heh. It's not a super major thing I guess, more like the bard in me is sad. </3

More than likely your NGS related files (security) is out of whack.  I fixed someone up earlier today and that did the trick.  We'd done it on a few occasions before via TeamViewer, but this time I talked them through it.  They also have the chat log now for reference. :)  Start with some screen caps if you can please of your files organized by date, one showing the most recent, one showing anything with etracer in the name, one showing files with NG in the name, one showing your BlackCypher directory contents, and finally one showing your Nexonguard directory contents as well.  We'll go from there.

I hope this suffices.

At a glance from your screen shots your files are outdated that are related to NGS.  Use the repair client/fix files option within Nexon Launcher or the Steam Launcher depending on what you use.  We'll see if it pulls the latest this way.

I mean the version that you installed.  Unless you use the really old client version that was before them...  In which case there's no repair option.  They started phasing that out at least 3 years ago.

In the latter case, it'd have to be done manually.

I think I'm using the really old one with the mabinogi.exe launcher. So how do I repair it manually?

As silly as this sounds, this is where PowerPatcher comes in.  You'll need to revert back to about 20 versions, say around 215.  Why so far?  We want to be sure that you get right before NGS started giving people grief and a bit before.  Since we're unable to nail down the exact time frame when these issues started.  If was was say about 2 months ago that it started then 5-7 revisions usually is about right.  Let me know how you want to proceed, but for now you may want to get familiar with PowerPatcher.

Would it just be easier if I just downloaded a new copy though Nexon Launcher and modded that?

You can do that if you wish.  I'd recommend it personally only for a few reasons.  When it's all said and done in regards to the old client--they don't support it anymore.  So if you have any issues... well you get the idea.  Also, if you are "mod-less", then it's easier for it to repair itself.  It's your call.  Steam or NexonLauncher will work fine.

Start with checking your data folder if you have one and that's it's current, then custom packs and security related files.  Also, you'll want to make sure you have the latest Abyss.  See the prior posts to yours for info on all of this please.

*As a diagnostic measure*
You can remove your data folder or custom packs (if you have them) and run with only Abyss.  If the problem still occurs it may be with Abyss but not likely, then you would remove Abyss and see if the problem still occurs.  If it's still occurring then it'd be your security related files or the original packs for the client.

Forgive me if this isn't what you were asking for, but uhm,

http://puu.sh/rgN7d/366bb7f00e.png

ye <3 really hope I'm doing this right and not being a derp o .o, sorry for any inconveniences.

UPDATE: to it seems, I had a crash unrelated to my chairs. I was scything dyes and while roaming over the numerous dyes I began crashing. Assuming it might have to do with the true color/dur, I disabled both and finished scything. Curious, I tried my chairs, all of them--and no more crashes. So, I guess that solved it? I didn't really use the true dur or color additions to abyss so disabling them doesn't cost me much grief to get use of my piano back o wo. Thought i'd post up what happened though.
